Vintage Grumble
Having a wank is always a great option. What you guys have planned is also a great option, I would like to help out if I can in any way, I make a mean cup of tea!
keltik
I think we've got a date to go out there and hit things with hammers. Come along for lols if you wish. I reckon we could have all of the running gear swapped in a day, then maybe another 2/3 days to get it all going. Everything should bolt up since they share the same chassis and the entire front end is identical.
Vintage Grumble
Chur bay, keen. If you need steel for jacking it up/putting in a half assed roll cage, hit me up! Also, has the hatch got a stand alone chassis, or is it integral?
keltik
Integral/monocoque, only inferior ass backwards manufacturers use chassis/body configurations.
Vintage Grumble
True, would have made it much easier to jack it up tho. Just slam spacers ontop of the struts then?
keltik
Yeah pretty much, spacers up front and clocked torsion bar in the rear with brumby shocks. Should get it high enough to do most things.
johnnyfive
Yeah, it seems a sadface idea in some ways, but at least its going to hopefully give us a little while longer enjoyment in this form. Thomas, could you supply tea in thermos form? This would increase productivity tenfold!
Vintage Grumble
As I am now old, I need to buy a thermos, so yes, I shall purchase one and be the offical tea lady.
