olds_kool
have you tried reversing the way the drum goes on and putting a few wheel nuts on that and using it as a sort of slide hammer? situation might be to bad for that method though.. dirty_leppa
try welding some heavy metal to the broken axle and beat the shit out of it with a hammer. had a mates axle that broke so we welded some steel to it and gave it a good hit. it might take a while but it may work
Jase
wheres it broken at the flange wheel end or spline diff end, spline end jack the car up put a spare wheel and tire back on and hit the inside of the tire with a full swing with appropriate piece of 4x2, inertia from tire moving normally pop them out, heat is your friend so a gas axe can help as the bearings in the housings can be tight, if its the flange gone you'll have to weld a step to lever it out from the diff in the centre good luck

Mike-e
for really stuck ones you dont care about theres nothing like 2 wheel nuts, a chain, and a 4wd in low ratio launching in 4th gear
