have just droped the setas off to get retrimed in a cream vinyl, including the front ones now what do you guys think, have the whole seat in a simple cream vinyl ? apply a orange piping around the outside of the seat like this: or apply a orange prping around the outside and inside where the material joins like this: the back seat will me in matching cream vinyl is well with the lines going down the middle like the front seats.... what do you guys think ?

they are mk2 escort seats from my mates escort, i was thinking of repainting them white or cream ? i dont think i will be using those other seats as they are fabric and will cost too much to recover them, so its either these or if someone can recommend me something else or white vinyl bucket seats...

thought i had blown the turbo and done some damage to the pistons, but all it was was that the flywheel had come loose haha, all fixed and the engine is back into the bay. got some new seats, what do you guys think ? whats your guys opinion on these seats ? i'll be getting the back retrimmed to match the front seats anyway...

yeah but its not perfect thou as i didnt want to pay 15k+ for the panel and paint, if the end i prob went over my panel and paint budget heaps thou, but oh well just waiting on a water inlet piece for the engine that is ex-japan, 280bux for it 3week wait

Long time no update so here we go.. intercooler mounted and piping all done Went for a cert in between Rear seat failed Need Lapbelts for rear seat Driveshaft Loop Wheels and Tyres to be confirmed Brakes To be rechecked once finshed And everything else passed Yay!! what it looks like now

isnt too bad i guess, started cut and polishing the front half of the car with re-po stuff and came out pretty mint

luckly i have no rust in those areas

ooo might pull all the carpet out all together ! it shouldnt be too hard to replace the rust with good steel, maybe a weekends job if done slowly

whats a good way to get rid of the old musty car smell ? i fucking hate that smell !!

When putting into reverse, big loud gear against gear grinding noise and big loud clunk as if the whole gearbox/drive line got ramed from 1st to reverse more rusted than i expected very bad smell from the interior and the engine other than that it does nice drifts havent taken on the road yet so i dont know, but the bad smell is really pissing me off!!! iv brought my self an 77 truimph 2500 tc now im in the market for some oldschool rims, i understand the stud pattern is 4x114 (yipiee ) now what would be the ideal size/width/offset to suit it ?

yeah, engine is toast, needs new rings at a guess, as iv got oil out from the exhaust side.. might re-build it at a later stage or just buy another engine

yeah, well the skids/drifts were from over excited and start doing what my original plans were, to 4x4 this thing then re body then on the road, and a new engine at the rebody stage. again i am very thank full of all the help i was given to get this engine running. thumbs up and again, this is not something very serious, its a back burner project. my jeep is the main project, this is just to keep my hands dirty and learn and have fun while my jeep is at panel and paint and during the summer break. thanks again and i see where u guys are coming from too

reality kicked in when it first started and i saw all the smoke. there went the plans of keeping this motor untill after i get a wof for it with a new body, so im just going to have this motor till i get my new body which iv semi brought along with a 1.3 sj413 engine and gearbox

but thanks alot guys for helping me in starting this old engine, that most people thought i would be able to get started Top Job boys

i dont see why everyone is so upset ? is it because most* of you guys thought it wouldnt start ? or is it becasue of me doing some skids/having fun in at after starting it in over a year ?
