Snoozin
175/60 was the best I could find, that's whats on my Brights. A 185/50 exists, but finding one would no likely be next to impossible/expensive as it only seems like Michelin, Pirelli, Fulda etc make that sort of size. 185/55's look pretty sweet though, and are easy enough to find, but spendy I think. This = another one of those Starlet's I look at and wonder why I bother Definitely a standard to aspire to!
Toucan
Whatever mang You've only seen it in the dark and I unsterstand you were fairly chopped at the time Its messy as, paint chips and bubbles in every corner and it runs horribly. Your starlet is way better!
Snoozin
I'm more talking overall package! Mine's a standard KP with some shiny paint (for the meantime!), yours is raw and mega, I loved that wee thrash in it eh!!!
fishtailfred
cool starlet escorta, have you run it at the strip? i used to drive one around for a while about 6 years ago, and have wanted another ever since. i was set on slapping a blacktop in one, but they are pricey still, so maybe a silvertop or something random depending on how much work i feel like. do you have a youtube account with some videos? looks good, has right engine, wanna see it in action fred. mikuni
Ooo I'm posting again. Damn it dan, it looks like you just took off the top progressive rate part of the spring. As I understand it that part is mainly just there to keep it captive and doesn't really do much for the height. Probably would have worked way better if you cut the other end of the spring. I haven't really cut kings or what ever they are before though, only standards so I may be lying to you. But I don't think so. Yeah, cutty moooorrrreeeee
kpr
yeh will only drop it down thickness of the coil, on top part. 10mm or whatever a coil. but should be a good 30-40mm lower by the looks of those springs i have the same problem as you at the moment with the rattly shims. 4e and 5e engines share the same shims as 4age if your needing to rob some. car is looking sweet anyway.
