I was surprised to see it was ITB injected. Very nice, although after reading the thread on the intake runner length I would suggest getting some trumpets or something on there because those throttles are mega tiny! Guest gizzy_esky Posted January 13, 2007 Share Posted January 13, 2007 my first escort was a one owner mk2 4-door and i had the twin cam and 5-speed in that, however, i then stumbled accross this 2-door locally (in a very rough state) and sold the motor/box from the other one to go towards this one.....i sold it for a measly $400 in the end i think..was a real steal, and it has been for sale on TM recently again and went for alot more lol. I still have the 4-door and it's mint as, not a dent or any rust what so ever, so i think it will just stay in the shed untill i get around to doing that one up aswell, some day haha. Guest gizzy_esky Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 that was the elec. dizzy that requires the ecu, and it was at the scrap metal place not hemis in the end...., so ive bought a PertronixIgnitor electronic ignition kit for $200 off the net...im getting a balance tube made up for the manifold vaccum so i can run a vaccum block to plug the brake booster into as atm i dont have anywhere to..and so the MAP runs off all 4 not only one cylinder....will get back to you re. parts when i get a chance to look in the shed.
