TOYOPET Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 Yeah so i polished my mags on the weekend, and noticed they ahve real bad surface rust on them... took me ages to polish it off with autosol, but is there anyway to stop this from happening again? or do i just gotta keep polishing them every week to get rid of it??? any help would be just great. HUNTD Posted August 21, 2006 Share Posted August 21, 2006 Only thing is its not a wax or polish, it doesnt treat the chrome, which yours sounds like it needs some love. just makes it really shiney. its just a liquid which dries and you wipe off. TOYOPET Posted August 21, 2006 Author Share Posted August 21, 2006 u used to polish them every two weeks, but then while colin had my car for a month they never got cleaned, then they sat in the shed for a other month, so when i went to clean them i had a cry cos they looked like poos.... just ssems to be in the dish part where water sits when cars not moving...
