CaMpylobacter
any warrantly expressed would be invalid by now, unless they state it'll be chur for x amount of time and you're still within that. I'd rock back and hit them up about it, but they don't HAVE to fix it for nothing i wouldnt think. they'll prolly sort it tho, wont be a big job, and word of mouth spreads fast if they're cunts about it
esky boi
Ouch, yea man definitely go back and show them aye. A similar thing happened to mine and the exhaust place just fixed it for nothing, as cam said, they probably dont have to fix it but im sure they'd like to keep a good reputation so yea... But I think pitstop put warranties on their exhausts anyway dont they?

v3k
Im pretty sure pitstop would have a similar warranty to magoo's - which is 12 months. So hit them up if you have a receipt then you should be fine....
kyteler
If they solid mounted that from the body to the top of a heavy stainless cannon muffler, they need a seriously large boot in the nads. In future, the best thing you can do is find a specialist muffler place, not a chain store. Magoo's, Pitstop etc. all bullshit places. My brother took his 240Z into Magoo's down here because of time reasons and they fucken bent the bottom of the rear guard out to fit the muffler instead of moving it to a place where it would fit fine, and it still rattled against the bit they bent out. This is a fucken classic car for craps sake, they didn't even ring or ask about doing it, just fucken did it, and fucked it up. Took it to our local non-chain store muffler place and he sorted it out sweet as.
CaMpylobacter
In future, the best thing you can do is find a specialist muffler place, not a chain store. W3RD pitstop in palmy convieniently 'lost' my week old "super turbo" muffler when I got a stainless chucked on. cunts woulda sold it to another punter. grr etc I, and sparkle, get shizz done at an exhaust place in feilding, guy does a mean job, cheap as fuck, awesome. Leebo3
I guess they would be able to weld a plate over the top of it to cover it.
