Gaz
Youd need a big compressor to run a sander or whatever for the amount of time you want.

DavidTheCreator
if i was to strip a car back to the metal , sand fah sure but it makes a hell of a mess and u get sand EVERYWHERE . does a bloody good job though if ur good at it (me) lol
Guest Scheme
I got a couple of 3m paint stripping pads for the drills, works awesome. rips off the paint and doesnt get the metal much, spose the metal will need a run over with a finer grit sand paper before its primerd etc.
mutiny
hunt out a source for some chemical paint stripper like the pros use. shits dodgy tho, gotta wear aaprons, gloves, resperator, saftey glasses and shit, but itds by far the easiest way, just spread it over and scrape it off
Guest Scheme
the 3m paint stripping pads someone suggested are working a treat eh, doesnt affect themetal much but it rips the paint off no worries.
Guest Scheme
I was considering a sand blast, but it'll prolly cost alot, and theres not much diff if I can get all the paint off myself, no?
DavidTheCreator
i forgot about those , those stripping pads are legendary , they rip all the paint off but yea leave the metal in mint condition mongol
Chrome_GT
Yeah on the minis roof and bonnet I used paint stripper. That got most of it. In the seems and other areas of the car i used those 3m stripping pads. $18 a pop and i went through 3. But they work good. Don't get the paint stripper on ya skin. It burns like hell! It takes about ten seconds before you feel it but by that time your running f****n fast to get to that water tap eh! Leaves scars too.
