I got a couple of 3m paint stripping pads for the drills, works awesome. rips off the paint and doesnt get the metal much, spose the metal will need a run over with a finer grit sand paper before its primerd etc.

Yeah on the minis roof and bonnet I used paint stripper. That got most of it.

In the seems and other areas of the car i used those 3m stripping pads. $18 a pop and i went through 3. But they work good.

Don't get the paint stripper on ya skin. It burns like hell! It takes about ten seconds before you feel it but by that time your running f****n fast to get to that water tap eh! Leaves scars too.

so where do you get these magical pads? mitre 10 and the likes?

i gotta get a new drill too, fried the old one doin the porting

is there a bunch of different grades of the shit? any tips on what ones to get since i got the whole car to do?

bro i sanded my bonnet by hand and that was enough! got tired of shitty sand paper taking forever! plus id rather it be done sooner than later since i got heaps more shit i want to do
