  1. If that was mine I would rust kill it until it was back to nice white metal. This is done by applying rust killer over and over again. This is one hundred percent possible but you need patience as it is very tedious. Then I'd take it to a good old school beater.
  2. Surely it can't be too far gone to have it reco'd though (re-sleeved) - had Rx2 one done through BNT for two hundred and summink.
  3. Yep both those sleeves vent the same area; the sump. I've got two hoses on mine (it's NA but) running down into a chassis rail (shhh). There's been a lot on ausrotary about crankcase ventilation and when they're blocked (especially on the later stuff) they blow smoke (especially on deceleration). Vacuum is probly best, venting to atmo is ok, but I'd say blocked is not that good. In Au from what I can gather (not sure about here) it is illegal to vent to atmosphere.
  4. Take it to the dump and stop making a stink for others.
  5. Seen a few stripped gears (hooking 3rd on boost burnout mostly). Depends how you treat them, you can ruin almost anything if you try hard enough.
  6. I think it's best to pack the hub with some grease too ay.
  7. Those 1mm thick cutting discs are brilliant.
  8. They about 40 odd $ for a B&D at Mitre 10 cuzzy. Edit: Sorry I might be getting ballsed up - we have one of these: 115mm 900W I thought it was $40.00 on special but the box says $79.95 so I don't know. It is good though, done a bit and still good - not a professional tool though of course.
  9. Does that mean adjustable camber tops won't be certifiable if they can be adjusted outside the 1/2 degree allowable? (me thinks yes not certifiable)
  10. I had a guard replaced on a 1600 Sport once and it came out mint.
  11. Of course not, look at your indicator.
  12. Anything much noticeable come out the exhaust when it finally does start?
  13. Looks like a nice car. Lucky the bonnet and the rest of it looks sweet. I would get a new guard welded on.

  15. Yes oil pressure does drop off as oil temperature increases. Keep your oil topped up. I'm sure you could use 20 50 no problem.
  16. The relays I've used have a pic on them.
  17. Depends on whether or not everyone is clear on it or not.
  18. No. Right in front down low. Exposed. I'm on dial-up speed at mo because chewed up width but here's a tame one mounted reasonably high and plate protecting it (quite often they lower and more exposed)..
  19. That's not directed at me obviously as I'm well aware of that^. Incidentally that looks absolutely stoopid. Check out rotary oil cooler mounting sometime.
  20. Rotaries have oil coolers - never heard of one 'catching a stone' and/or 'oil under your tyres and careen to your death'. Lol.
  21. i agree^.. i had purple plain ones i didn't really like: out of some old rubbish i bought on tm for 20$ that were fawn coloured i made these: i used ados spray to glue and just one coat of vinyl spray paint
