  2. airbag suspension setup for the rear. smallest bags i could find and are going to be run off of a 1way valve and a lil 12v compressor. pump them up for traveling then dump the air for show. bags have 80mm of travel which should be ample. also upgraded my oilcooler lines. enjoy Uploaded with ImageShack.us

  5. wont put his number out there since leroyd says hes contacted him already. leroyd said the person was saying they werent craig so duno whats the truth there. craig did alot of work on my hatch early last year and i remember him commenting that he had the plates for the maxda 1800 that barry25 owns as he once owned it, and i dont think he is as shit talker. grab his number off of leroyd as i dont wana get in shit for dishing it out.
  6. if its leroyds car its been through many many different owners. traced back to a dude called craig who has the plates for it, he is the original person who got it complete then pulled it apart to rebuild and restore, then went to a few different people then ended up with barry- then to andy- then to leroyd. i txt leroyd with craigs number but he never got any futher.

  11. oldschool needs to have a like button. come have a look at my hatch if ya ever need to, otherwise it is in very very good hands. he is all about doing it the right way and making everything work. fucks him off when people dont take the extra effort to make body lines work, and/or use bog instead of a hammer and dolly.

  13. heading upto nelson in my van on the 22nd of aug and returning around the 24th maybe a day or 2 later. heaps of room, just a heap of exhaust tubing so far. beer/project/petrol donations appreciated.
  14. update. been told through work pick-a-part hornby will be opening on the 20th of july. now ive also been told there is no chance of ever stealing anything including a badge from there, so best noone tries. -i know the sparky that wired up all the cameras. $2 entry like normal, 199 for a running motor. over 500cars in stock as of last week so growing every week. and all single stacked in vehicle make ares to make easier.

  17. how much do you earn for a living and who do you know? then i can point you in the right direction of doing the conversion. it costs alot of money if you running a decent turbo and intercooler plus making them fit in the little shell along with the radiator and oilcooler. motor can either be side mounted off of factory mounts or swapped to an oldschool setup then front mounted off of an rx3 style setup. first of all you have to get it rebuilt which could mean you have to buy another block if yours is fucked. what gearbox are you running? as anything later than a 12at will sit the shifter a long way back so that will have to be modified and brought forward. also youll have to change the diff. hilux will need shortening and mounts added. b1600 dont need shortening but dont have as many ratios. new front struts and brakes will have to be made for cert reasons to stop the new power plant. then its wiring time which will be fun plus expensive by the time you buy 4 of the $170 coils plus leads.then the fancy gauges to put icing on the cake. exhaust is ment to be very fun to fit around the steering box and between the sump and firewall. i hope you will have a spare 15grand to throw at it to get it finished in a year. best bet is to do some homework or rotahavik and ausrotary where the conversions have been done many times. or sell the hatch and motor, twiddle ya thumbs and save ya money then buy a road legal one when the time comes. mine will be for sale around xmas time but want 20grand for it, and no thats not greedy as it owes me twice that and some.
  18. there is a difference between putting a 12a or 13b into a 323 than putting a 12at or a 13bt into a 323. like i said you will run into issues. and that coment scares me about powersteering. do you know what your doing or just had a look on trademe and "want to build one of those"
  19. you will have slight issues with the exhaust unless you change to rack and pinion
  20. easiest way would be go get a loan and buy one thats done.
  21. This man speaks the truth... I got mine from there and they wouldnt stay on even with Ados as they have no clips... shit really. Gaz Could clips be removed from old door rubbers and fitted to Rare Spares sets or is there a design fault with these. Would be pissed if I spent $300 on door rubbers that wouldn't stay on.. dont have holes for clips or designed to add holes for clips. glue and rock'n'roll application i guess.

Gaz oh good im not the only one. currently have some tape holding the door rubbers on. but the main issue was the 323 hatch boot rubber. the boot didnt want to close afterwards! ive had to use a whole lot of washers to space everything out for it to close and lock but now the factory lines are upto wack. I WILL NOT BE BUYING OFF OF THEM AGAIN! rant over haha
  23. ive got my rubbers from rarespares. look good and fit well but are missing the lil tabs to stick to door.
  24. nearly finshed my hatch and just needing a lil help for the finishing touches. how many rpm should i set the idle to? 13bpp 48mm ida. how many psi should the fuel reg be set to? holley blue-10mm lines bighorn electric speedo drive-autometer speedo. what wires what? black yellow green cheers for any help!!!
