I just had that in mine so I pulled it apart and regreased it. It's a bit of a job cos you've gotta pull the whole rack out, drill out the locking pin and strip down the tie rod. Mine sorted itself out by just regreasing it but if the bushes are too worn palmside do replacements. The haynes manual tells you how to do the whole procedure and it's not all that difficult, just a bit time consuming.

Right so the front camber has always been a little crazy, but I've found it's rooted a tyre so that's going to be replaced tomorrow. But another issue is a knock coming from the right front wheel, I inspected it tonight and have traced it to the rack end. My haynes manual describes a ball join in there, does anyone know anything about these? It reckons they're replaceable. Will then get a wheel alignment to sort the camber issues and hopefully make it a little less flighty. Gotta sort these things before beach hop!
