  1. nah,havent got any caps for them .will bring them out with the other doors and windows next week sometime to you .and sweet,you dont bugger round do you .i got home last night and was so tempted to go work on my van,think i might crack into it next week,got teh minty pinto 2L to go in it,so might fook round with the sump then mock it all up

  7. yup,theres a few hiding in the cortina,but im planning a good respray soon anyway. id stick with original too,you've kept it stock so far and itd be a shame to ruin it now with some custom colour.the cortina has been so many different colours its not funny,if it was original paint though id have left it

  9. hey dude, nice anglia,what colour you thinking paint wise??ive used the stuff from supercheap thats mentioned further up,its cheap and can get a reasonable finish,it wont win any shows though.this is my 83 cortina,its painted with supercheap paint,is meant to be gloss but i prefer it satin to be honest viewtopic.php?f=17&t=26429 generally for paint,thinners etc ill use RJP on St Asaph st,but dont be afraid to shop round,ive heard both good and bad stories about every place,just like any business PS:welcome to Old School

  11. hey Cletus, ive got a pair of sparco fixed back race seats in my cortina.theyre bolted onto factory tina seat rails,the rear holes are bolted directly to the seat,but front ones on seat are about 3 inches towards back compared to front holes on cortina rails.i have brackets i made so i didnt have to modify factory rails(its ghia so may want to refit stock seats),they bolt onto seat then run forward to rail hole,do i need cert for the seats beacuse of this??

  13. the one spare panel i dont have is a bonnet sorry dude.but fair enough wanting to fix the red one,both yours are minter than my one,lol. any info on the weatherstrips would be great,its currently lurking under a tarp so water doesnt get into doorcards etc

  17. good luck lol... looks like im gonna have to pull the gold one apart this weekend. theres a big puddle of oil under it joys of old fords ae?? .if ya need any little bits and pieces let me know,ive got a parts mark 5 here,most of the parts are gone off it into my black one but ive got excess bits from both the black and the parts one(im building the black one as 1 good one out of the two,lol).you havent got any window seals that run along bottom of door windows??mine is missing them
