  1. I'm not angry, I am disappointed. Lack of financial planning was one of the main meeting notes. By missing this meeting you will find your self in the same situation next month.
  2. Its with great regret and a heavy heart, I have to decline your request. I can no longer support the benefits of the unemployed bylaw. I will be putting forward a motion that all 'Key Account Manager's get reserved parking at Mercury Plaza. /Still coming. BOOM!
  3. I've got a Malossi boost bottle on the shelf. Never used. Was going to run it on the race scoot at some point. /Ling post.

    Pooman's Vespa SS50

Thanks Chris, These photos are from last nights ride to the gym! I finally got off my arse and fixed the electrical fault that it had. I thought the ignition pick up was dead. As the symptoms were the same as a dying pickup. Turns our the loom had cut on the frame. A leak in the fuel line had dripped fuel onto the loom/frame grommet, softening the rubber grommet. So the kill switch wire was earthing on the frame. New fuel line and proper hose clamps fixed the leak. TL;DR? Theres more, Its a 1970, Piaggio, Vespa SS50 2500ish made. the motor bits: Malossi 135cc (slightly widened exhaust port) Port matched engine casings (not the original, they are safely tucked away) 12volt Vespa ET3 Electronic ignition late model ET3 style Mazzuchelli race crank. 20mm taper (I was snapping earlier 19mm cranks) ET3 Flywheel, lightened to 1.6kg The biggest upgear kit I could get, straight cut. (I was ruining flywheel bearings with helical cut gears. Too much side loading from the primary gears onto the bearings) Still running rotary valve intake timing. Heavily ported on the case. Not much left of the rotary pad. But still seals ok. PM Tuning Expansion Chamber, HPC coated. Mikuni TM24 carb. Frame etc: Some weird mix of House of Kolor, Emerald Green pearl, theres some brown shades in there as well. the white trim is actually glow in the dark paint. I need to repaint the front rim, as the original had a buckle in it. Front fork is HPC coated. front and rear shocks are Bitubo. Seat is a NOS Primavera Custom green taillight, with glitter in it. Brakes are standard and near useless drums. HPC coated. It goes ok for an old scoot. Cruises happly below 100kph. At 100kph its just below the power band. Power in 4th gear develops at around 107kph then the speedo needle will go past 120kph and hide itself under the face of the speedo.
  6. I will try and make it to this. I even splashed out and got rego.

The one on Devon Lane. Seriously, Devon Lane is short. The panelbeaters and Alert are the only business on it.

  15. Fix what you got. I would pay a visit to Peter Jordan. Ive seen that man make a Rolls Royce panel from a flat piece of alloy. Sheepers will back me up on this. His son Greg runs the shop now. Call and ask for Peter. http://www.jordanpb.co.nz/
