  1. I did nothing to the box except seal between the bellhousing and box. Ill be stoked if its just the rear seal
  2. Can you tell me which end of the gearbox?
  3. So about 2 weeks ago i got Brendon Dunker to road tune my car. I gave it to him knowing my gearbox had a very slight rumble to it as it always has had one. The tune went good apparently but he txt once it was done saying the gearbox was making a few noises which i knew about. What didnt realise was how bad it had got during the road tune, to the point where i was concerned that i might not make the drive home (about a 10min drive). Once i got it home, i jacked the car up and started pulling the box out. Luckly i had a spare under the bench While it was out, it gave me the chance to put in the correct release bearing carrier as the one i put in was some off the shelf 1 piece bearing and carrier unit and was the wrong length. I also replaced the leaking rear main seal I finished the swap on saturday morning and spent the weekend enjoying the car with its new tune But when putting the car away last night, i did notice a pool of fresh gearbox oil on the ground I havent looked to see where its coming from yet but im not happy!
  4. Yea ive swapped bushes in a few of my cars now, a combo of drills, flat head screwdrivers and fire works well Any chance of picture from further away, just so i can get an idea?
  5. I have spare bolts but no spotwelded bits. They would be easy to make im guessing
  6. Being a nissan skyline, its most likely been played with so who knows what ratio could have been swapped in after the owner tried a sweet roll back and blew the diff to pieces
  7. I still have my doubts about that camber mod purely because it seems far to easy. Surely al those OG toyota guys from a few years ago would have looked at using exisiting toyota parts before going down the BMW route
  8. Yea it all depends on when you want to switch it on and what thread size works best
  9. Im expressing interest depending on the day as my weekends are pretty packed between now and christmas
  10. Wouldnt your motor have run a normal viscous fan? Normally, fans are their own circuit. You run them through a relay that is switched on via water temp sensor that goes in one of these adapters. You can just go through the Repco/Appco book and find one with the right temperature switch points and the right thread
  11. I like how its rusting already. So oldschool
  12. Im pretty sure you cant shim a torsen. Torsens are great if your just planing on doing grip work. If you plan on drifting it for more than 3secs, they like to start single spinning
  13. The torsen centre will bolt into the head of your car, not the whole altezza head
  14. Ae86 has an internal pump. TE71 has an external pump but the tank is baffled to suit EFI engines. They usually go for about $300
  15. Or find a AE86 or TE71 tank and bolt that in
  16. Isnt this quite a major problem?
  17. reminds me of the japanese hotels. looks cool!
  18. This is totally going to be one of Stuff's houses of the week!
  19. Wish google had brought up this photo last night
  20. You can pick her up after the meet, most people are gone by 10
