  1. Any old Mitsis? They haven't updated their website for a while
  2. So I now have this. Cruised up to grab it this morning from rbdrifter. Cheers for everything bro. On the way back home. Group shot Plans at the moment are to raid good bits for my wagon. Then I might try and get it back on the road. Its a bit of piece of mind to have a spare car in case things go bad for my daily. Chur
  3. Ahh, thanks KK. I was trawling thru post to see if any one else has asked for pricing but couldnt find one. Clint, I would also like to know whats the cost of getting a car certified for engine and suspension (nothing adjustable) mods
  4. Cousin said that it was his steering rack that it fouled on. He said that hes running a 4 cylinder rack? I asked what other 308 stuff he has. Hes got a 1 piece driveshaft (Trimatic sedan) and a brand new 3" Flowmaster
  5. My cousin has a fancy-pants starter motor for 308. I think its a hi torque jobby. Cost him about $260 We used it for about an hour all up. It didnt suit his engine as hes running 304 heads and I think his headers were in the way. $180 is what he wants for it if youre interested.
  6. I am said sicko... I can take some verniers home tonight and measure a cam for you. Just to clarify, you are after measurement 'C' in the pic below?
  7. Replaced the fuel pump for a higher flowing pump (Bosch 950 to a Bosch 910) and a FPR suited for this engine. Not sure if its made an improvement but I can sort of rest at ease that the engine wont be running lean. It is back to being my daily driver now and im pretty happy with how its going. A bonus with this engine swap is that it seems to be almost twice as economical as the old motor (if that makes sense) As promised, skid vid. All thats left to do now is get it certified. I may be looking at selling in the near future. Weighing up the pros and cons Happy.
  8. Theres one of these at Pick a Part Mangere if you dont already know
  9. These guys use to I think http://www.tubularsuspensionsystems.com/
  10. MBD001U 215x140x23T - suits 4G63 Sigma/L200 etc MBD006U 200x120x20T - suits 4G37, 4G32 Chariot/Galant/Tredia etc Need something close to 200x120x23T
  11. 200mm OD with 20 tooth spline, apparently. http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/daikin/mbd006u.html
  12. They have 215mm listed for the FWD Sigma on the website
  13. Apparently they use the same plate as Lancers, L200 (1600) etc Part # MBD006U
  14. So it looks like the clutch plate is going to be an issue. From what I gather off the Exedy website, the 4G32 clutch plate is 200mm OD with 20 spline and the 4G63's are 215/220mm OD with 23 spline. Any one know of a Mitsubishi clutch plate that is 23 spline but is 200mm OD? Custom clutch possibly?
  15. Hey Clint My cousin is getting his VK commodore certified by you this Thursday I believe (be kind to him, haha) and he said that you mentioned that the 1 piece driveshafts tend to rub - You were bang on. Whats the most common way around this? Would it be acceptable to remove the mount for the hanger bearing all together or is the mount a structural part?
  16. OK, so bolting up is gonna be do-able. So, if the 4G32 flywheel, clutch and pressure plate are used it will be ok? Spigot bearing the same?
  17. Just wanting to know if there are any issues with this combination. First off is it possible - Im thinking yes. A little voice is saying a new clutch plate is needed as well as the 4G32 clutch wil not fit the spline of the 4G63 box.
  18. Thanks for that Cletus 50% eh? That might just get me thru a cert without one.
  19. No doubt been covered before. I cant find using search. With my twin cam conversion, will I need to install a driveshaft hoop? I know with any engine swap you need one but in theory, my engine is basically the same but instead of SOHC Carburetor its DOHC Injected. I have a feeling you still need a hoop.
