  1. So good! Count me in, happy to make a donation
  2. Hell yeh! Mine will soon be wellside anyway
  3. Happy now @Nominal? Made it look like a car again and when for a drive to the servo to pump up the tires. Everything does what it's meant to other than the heater (as you can tell by the steamy windows) as I didn't plump it in when swapping the motor due to not having the right size hoses. So that's next on the list. Otherwise does what it says on the box and goes sssshhhhhrrrreweeoooooaassh when you give it the beans which is A++
  4. It's alive! Threw the rebuilt injectors in and seems happy as. Drove around the block and makes all the right noises and not too many of the bad ones. Next steps are to put the front back together so it looks like a car again and then start chipping away at the rest of the issues including but not limited to cracked windscreen, bald front tires, no cert, no wof, no reg.
  5. No pics/lame progress update. Picked up a new battery as old one was chooched. Threw that in and started up like a champ. Still isn't quite happy and seems to intermittently drop a cylinder (i.e. exactly how it was when I left it, surprise surprise). I know this engine is OK(ish) so worth persisting. Pulled the trigger on some rebuilt injectors so will see if that helps. It makes choo choo noises again so I'm calling that progress. 6. Second time in my life. Both Nissans in fact.
  7. This is still going strong. Broke a set of points on it while being a dirtbag in the wet which was lol. Have also been chasing an intermittent misfire/stumble, so it's ended up with pretty much all new ignition bits other (points, cap, rotor, coil, leads). Also pulled the carb off for inspection and clean. Hasn't fixed it, but hasn't made it worse either so I'll just keep on keeping on. Did a service today, next one is the big 300,000km! Oh, and some decent headlight bulbs have made night driving much more pleasurable/bearable. Have some assorted load hauling pics
  8. Beauty. Adv50 will be on duty again. Won't be able to keep up with all the medium bike sooks but so be it.
  9. Just general punishment/butt shattering/technical difficulty etc. Marku has pretty much answered it for me so I'm happy as!
