  1. The more the merrier. Always keen to meet new peoples from the club
  2. Still keen. Post here before you venture these ways.
  3. Yes. FUCK yes....gimme dates Brad....
  4. I thought these ol girls came with 149/179 (in Premier) red motors? 138s (i thought) only came in 48/215s, FJ-EK.....
  5. I think the 179 is a good idea bro. Reasonable on gas and eff all worries when it comes to rego time. Sweet....Also the sweet sound of mechanical lifters....
  6. lol all good just being an emo egg
  7. 0.8mm happy???? (standard answer to most things ie dont fucking know sorry cuz) upset my mate
  8. Mine had electronic dizzy.....
  9. been long time since had 4g32 but IIRC its not part of the rocker cover gasket. I would say your timing is still out and somehow its got compression to the sump, pressurizing the crankcase. But then again I have been known to be completely wrong....
  10. IIRC morries have big inner "hub centre" ????
  11. Obligitory locked diff please. This is lol. We built a B1600 with a 4.1 and 4 spd in it. Mazda diff was too lower ratio, so biffed in coon diff. Tyres last for years/minutes cos of no weight on rear wheels.
  12. Install (temporarily) another gauge to check actual reading.Compare. More than likely effed sender or cluster though. My diesel Hilux showed eff all pressure on dash but a healthy 50psi on another gauge...issue solved by a second hand sender
  13. No it just shows whether the inspection was passed or failed. Ive just gone thru a similar scenario and i rang the local VTNZ, lady was reluctant to give out the info, but did manage to extract a little out of her. from what she told me it just tells where the fault is ie steering/suspension not actual fault ie worn tie rod end/ball joint/cut springs
  14. Any sheet metal place should be able to do it. They'll just need a profile.
  15. Yeah it sounds silly but, Fluid can bypass the brake booster if its faulty while under vaccuum (ie lifting off) and brake fluid produces white smoke. Sounds like effed rings to me honestly if its fumey as, ie allowing compression into the sump which pushes oil up the bores past the rings creating your wonderful blue haze....
  16. Not sucking brake fluid in anywhere??? Or pressurising radiator? Or excessively fumey?
  17. Should be. did exactly that on Falcon race engine.
  18. Not if you run them off rhe "battery" side of the switch....
  19. Had something similar happen on my Surf. Charged fine, everything was in order. Fault was in the alternator, Rectifier iirc
