  1. this rev stick and rev pipe need to be attached to some suitable rev device I hope? many mouth long pipe much cam high ping etc.
  2. K series swap is what I would be thinking
  3. Old mate American Dan came around and did some great work while I was cursing other vehicles and getting sunburnt working in the driveway. getting to look serious now "Great Node of Justice" still a bunch more to do but most of the longer tricky ones out of the way.
  4. going to push the limits of 215/60/14 drag radials mate
  5. Have you put a timing light on it while cranking to check trigger offset?
  6. if its an adaptor thing that bolts to a standard axle will probably need to go through TAC as they will want to have a good look/think about how the wheel loads are transferred to the suspension. also may need D level certifier depending on how it effects the steering and suspension.
  7. Fark me you have alot of vicegrips sheepers And patience. Much hat tipping. Are you going to fully weld the join or just leave if as heaps of tacks close together?
  8. this would be better induction setup for it if you want to legitimately call it a supervan
  9. MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  10. if its got a current style plate rather than old paper cert (i.e. the info is in the current cert system) and nothing has changed since certing and it's true to the plate and everything else is still kosher then probably not?
  11. arent they also semi slicks?
  12. and his code uses tunerstudio for tuning?
  13. yeah not alot of options in 225/50/15 market, I see hyper has some kumhos but no idea if they are any good. otherwise r888s or yoko 0048s if you goto a 205/55/15 you can get Potenza Re003s. Similarly I ended up with semis on my 14x8s because I had no other option in a legal size
  14. notbad.update _b how pricey was it getting the hose crimping gear? legit for hydraulic hoses too or is it only good for low pressure stuff?
  15. I like that it has crank trigger support for the great jeep 4.0 high output. I've never figured out why no one has made megasquirt support for that factory crank trigger output, seems like there would be plenty of people keen since they made 10 million of them and people do mince about with them enough to want to put an ecu on easily.
  16. would it be better to do timing retard instead? has a quicker effect on torque output and would be simpler/less wiring and hoses etc. sure either can be made to work just fine though but yeah no idea on settings /lingpost. good luck please report back with findings/graphs
  17. put aliexpress QCTP on my little old lathe after some "precision" grinding for clearances and tee slot doofer fitment. started making up some bushes for the rear suspening rod ends so I can get the spacing right on the upper diff brackets. also got the side plates cut out for those and mounting holes drilled. Then on sunday got the rest of the bending done with the help of a bending barry, pretty happy with how it turned out/didnt have to bin any tube. the front legs along the a pillars dont look super close but I cant see that we could have got them much closer and been able to drop the cage down to weld the top corners without putting the feet through the sills or something which seemed wrong to me. all the bends are pretty much jammed up into the corners/roof etc. then started fitting one of the tubs together as the backstays are going to require me to cut into them to clear, so need to mock them up to figure that out. They don't play an easy game though even though the have the pre swaged seam thing and side plate with the edge bent over already, so I left it for the night before I ruined them completely, will see if I can get an extra pair of hands to help with getting them together with the minimum of kinkage and wrinkledness.
  18. graph of intake kpa vs ae86's waxed on the motorway plz
