Yah, so engine is a '95? VR 3.8, running off factory VN loom etc. It ain't running right, using tonnes of gas, low on power, seems to be down on a cylinder. 5/6 sparkplugs are still crispy white, while cylinder 1 is a bit different As you can see. Cyl 1 plug on left. I have been unable to do a compression test as my gauge does not fit the engine. Spark plug 1 also seemed to have a bit of oil on it, but whether this was contamination from outside the engine or not I'm not sure. Car does not appear to smoke at all, and the engine runs pretty smooth, but it is definitely lacking a bit of up and go. It also only gets 6 odd Ks to the litre, which is pretty piss-poor. Kind of concerned at the mild knocking sound it seems to have developed, hoping it's just the sound of a dead cylinder as opposed to a fucked bearing.... Anyway any help or ideas as to what may be going on would be sweet.

What suspension and brakes did you use?

Up to '78 they had the hockey stick lights. '79 onwards they were rebadged as Chrysler and went to flat tail lights / big ugly headlights. Blue one had hockeystick lights, red has flat.

Fixed up my brown one after some bastard stole the radiator and beat up the front. It runs bloody good but the front suspension needs straightening. Can't find my sledge hammer... Green one is currently rotting on the back lawn. So yeah, at this stage, they're not doing much.

I may have a spare if I get my ass into gear and finish the crizwags in time However it's a gayballs VN commie. But in reality, it's better to show up in a van than not at all.

Either way they both tend to shit things up the fuck once they crank over 12psi poost - overheat and stz Maths SC12, 1.2L per Rev x 14,000RPM = 16,800L per Min of air SC14 however can do 14,000L per min at 10,000RPM Whether this math actually translates into a real world advantage, I dunno.

When it ran low on coolant (leak) I considered it overheating when the temp reached the halfway mark. Normally the needle will move up 1 notch, on a hot day with the AC on.

My commage runs pretty bloody cold too actually, should probably slap a new thermostat in that and see if it makes a difference Nah...
