Yah, so engine is a '95? VR 3.8, running off factory VN loom etc.
It ain't running right, using tonnes of gas, low on power, seems to be down on a cylinder.
5/6 sparkplugs are still crispy white, while cylinder 1 is a bit different

I have been unable to do a compression test as my gauge does not fit the engine.
Spark plug 1 also seemed to have a bit of oil on it, but whether this was contamination from outside the engine or not I'm not sure.
Car does not appear to smoke at all, and the engine runs pretty smooth, but it is definitely lacking a bit of up and go. It also only gets 6 odd Ks to the litre, which is pretty piss-poor.
Kind of concerned at the mild knocking sound it seems to have developed, hoping it's just the sound of a dead cylinder as opposed to a fucked bearing....
Anyway any help or ideas as to what may be going on would be sweet.
