  1. Haha QCR dont ride much these days. Got the odd few member that ride as a group and when I organise ride I prefer Rural roads vs City roads for the very reason we are obscenely loud and annoying so have fun away from people and more likely to get away with it.
  2. Yeah take the lesson and refine the bike to tastefully include some of the features he reckons ya need. It can be done easy enough and still keep your bike wild . I would really like to have a working brake light on all my bikes and a speedo wouldnt go astray due to repowered bikes
  3. Soooo had a stunning day for the ride and we were making good time and as we dropped down into the third bay Magnet Bay my throttle cable snapped ! Due to my well organised tool roll of spares I knew I had a spare brand new Throttle cable ready to fit. But when searching for it I couldnt find it anywhere then remembered I gave it to @sentra to fix his bike on the East Cape ride ! But lukily I had a Cable repair kit so we used a part of that then attached a cable tie loop and pulled that for throttle. So we carried on down the valley to Magnet Bay. Checked out some future dive spots then rode 20km of gravel back onto probably 50km of sealed road home. Was a great on two wheels with just myself and Aaron on his C100.
  4. Been riding this heaps and everywhere and tomorrow off to smash out the southern section of Banks Peninsula
  5. Ive got 1 Royal Enfeild 500 1 Harley Davidson Ironhead 1 Lloyd 600 Special 1 Honda XR100 1 Honda SL70 1 Yamaha F5 1 Honda C90 1 Honda C50 2 Honda CT90 Thats enough for my shed. Couple aint mine and couple are the wifes and 1 is meant to be going very soon
  6. Fizzin to see my favourite wagon again this summer. Keep up the great work Manu.
  7. Awesome on the plate and yeah thats the mod that improves so much of that front end handling. And yeah 125 semi auto is the ticket and I feel like he has some in stock. If not he has more arriving next week.
  8. The Skyteam ace I built has all of those and no battery and also runs a trailtech with no issue. Ya'll need to on the train before it leaves ya behind
  9. Yeah Trailtech the world. Im running a Ali X round led tallight and some unknown rectangular headlight with a 12v bulb and my trailtech has kept those bad boys strumming hard for a solid 2500km now. Even with all the engine vibrations and what not. Running 4 trailtechs on 4 bikes and have yet to have a issue with lighting
  10. Yeah ive pulled them apart and shortened the shock shaft then run a die nut down and rethreaded the shaft .
  11. Fuck your a weapon Blizz. Ya just work magic on bikes
  12. Yeah dont be sorry. These are old bikes and take some time to get ya around. Carry on with what you do know and when ya ready purchase a motor and mount it up.
  13. I think you should slow down a bit before purchasing. I mea that in a nice way. Everything about that motor screams not rebuilt but just repainted poorly. Even if rebuilt 5 years ago is not much info to go on. Has it been in regular use since rebuild ? Has it been stored that whole time correctly and turned over reguarly ? I would go back to earlier suggestions at buying a lifan 110 motor and getting some assistance to mount and wire it up then enjoy the bike for awhile before requiring work again
  14. Damn cool 521 dude. I miss my one I had many moons ago. There is another white wellside rhd 521 out near Rangiora that I spotted years ago down the back of a farm that I was gonna save but didnt
  15. Yeah I too could her your epic intake noise over my straight pipe bike and industrial deafened ears
  16. The bit when @Rookie comes in way too hot into that river crossing and crashes into 2 other bikes parked in the middle of the road is my favourite
  17. Damn dude thats looking fly ! The bars and wheels are lookin great. What ya thinkin of doibg with the seat ?
  18. Explored some more roads of Banks Peninsula with a couple spare hours last Sunday. Kaituna Valley and McQueens Valley then finished off with Gebbes Pass and Port Hills summit rd. Bike ran like a dream but had discovered that im gonna need to wear earplugs when riding because the deafness is starting to hurt when finished riding. LOUD PIPES LOOK RAD
  19. We left some beers behind on purpose. Felt like we should have left more for you GC organisers
  20. Cheers bro. I also wish I had a chance to catch up with othere GCs like yourself. You ran a top notch event mate. Really enjoyed it aye
  21. Then arrived back in Christchurch 6pm on Monday. Unloaded my bike. Loaded my gear back onto the rack and rode 20km back home again. Have just washed the bike. Tensioned and lubed the chain. Cleaned out carb and air filter and now im riding it to work tonite. Fucking hands down my favourite bike build so far. Reliable as ever and have already got plans in next week or 2 to explore the southern bays of Banks Peninsula and in Feb the Molesworth Station rd from Seddon to Hanmer
  22. Then coming down into a valley between bays I got the gas stutter and ran out of fuel. Pulled over. Removed helmet and vest and pushed the bike over 2 hills before getting onto the flat where there was a motorcamp. I pushed the bike to the office and pushed the buzzer and a old boy came out and I explained my problem and he was more than happy to help with a couple litres of fuel from his tinny fuel tank. I was back on the road and came across Aaron the next bay over pushing his bike. Explained what just happened to me and that ive got enough fuel to get me to Opotiki and I grabbed his empty can under my arm and I rode to Opotiki and filled up and heading back to the boys by which time everyone had been fuelled up and was heading west again. All was well and we loaded up back at J5s for a group photo before hitting the road for Wellington
  23. Then we headed back towards Opotiki and I snapped a few shots along the coastline
