  1. Sweet dude, it's in Forest lakes Dimensions are 122 L x 76 W x 84 H cm Its just a black metal crate with a plastic removeble tray... like this but bigger https://www.tradetested.co.nz/dog-crate-cage-double-door-foldable-xxl.html
  2. Hey guys I need a favour from an osgc who resides in Hamilton. I sold a dog crate to a lady in Hamilton and shipped it up from my place in Welly... she is unhappy with it and wants a refund... blah blah blah... disputes tribunal... blah blah blah... apparently I misled her on a few spots of rust... and I am too busy and have enough going on to deal with that shit so will refund her. I can't get up to the tron so was wondering if someone can pop round, pick it up, and pay her the money I will transfer to your account prior to going. I don't want to refund her online before I have the crate back. So, if someone has the time and need for a dog crate, or knows someone who needs one, let me know. I don't want it back. Not worth the cost of transport to me as I bought it brand new so paying more money to have it back in my possession seems pointless. Its an extra large one so anyone who has the need to lock up a medium to large dog, rabbits, or disobedient small children, will find it useful. Hollah at me
  3. Wow that is mint. Nothing better than a view of the ocean
  4. Epic dude truly epic. My dream to have the land time and motivation you guys do. Love the before and afters. Look fwd to more updates as things progress.
  5. And def get louvers. I got them when I owned my second v3000 and everyone loved them including me. Great addition you won't regret
  6. Love it mate especially the numerous brown tones. Adds to the awesomeness imo
  7. Primo man, good work! I look fwd to seeing updates
  8. Had a look and we couldn't see any bumpstops at the front. Spoke to a mate who has owned a few mk2s in the past and he doesn't think there are meant to be any in the front... anyone else able to confirm this?
  9. Thought this might be the best place to bring this topic back up... I put 2 inch drop springs in front of my escort panelvan with new monroe inserts and after 100 kms they fuct out... I assume because they weren't shortened. Monroe are replacing them so all good... Having read this and seen the drop the springs give I would like a bit more so am thinking of cutting a coil off and getting the shocks shortened 2.5 or 3 inches instead of just 2 inches. Any suggestions if this would be the way to go? I will be flaring the guards also. Cheers
  10. Looking good man! where did you get a boss kit for the wildcat? I've got one I wana fit to my mk2
  11. Should look good once the panel work is complete! I see you picked up some new seats. .. and noticed from pic at panel shop you have the lower back escort seats in it... if u wana sell em id be keen
  12. tidy job on the first side! gonna look badass with flares wheels slam and panelled sides.
  13. Looking like the way to go removing side windows looks better already. I needa start a project page on my mk2 panelvan... nowhere near as skilled as you but would love to remove my side windows too... keeping a keen eye on your project. Will end up just being jealous tho lol
  14. Hey guys Does anyone have a guard roller I can borrow for beers/cash to use on my escort? Also anyone know of a decent wheel polisher who doesn't charge the earth or might be interested in contra (I have a property maintenance business)? Need my hotwires tidied up... Chur
  15. how much for ya hotwires? 4 with 4 tyres? much tread?
  16. damn nice, like the mags and fat tyres, staunch as fuck. where are you located? should sound awesome when you turn the key when finished...
  17. You do know the 1uz is a V8 too don't you? All alloy, quad cam V8 loveliness too, not some old cast iron pig of heaviness. That said the 350 Chev is relatively compact, especially as it doesn't have those tall DOHC heads to get in the way of stuff. yes i do know a 1uz is a v8... currently sussing out the sizing and pricing etc as it may be a better option than a 350
  18. hey mate looking good so far, nice colour choice too... where you get ya engine etc from and what did ya pay? me and a mate are getting ideas for a v8 to fit into a 323 os wags and looking at prices and if it will be easier than a 350 chev. any info would be great mate. pm or whatever.
  19. alright alright im not too much of a bogan. yes i had a matty b escort panelvan and yes a 350 chev is on the cards, but it is a joint project with a mate who would fuck a v8 if noone was watching and he had a spare moment. he loves em thru and thru SO.... with that being said, we are sizing it up tonight and by the looks of it it will be a squeeze but should work. we plan to take our time with this bad boy and do it over a year or so as you know the brakes suspension driveline, pretty much every fucken thing in the car needs to be upgraded to handle the torque
  20. 323 83 wagon 2 door. excuse my ignorance, but whats a 1uz?
  21. hey does any one have the dimensions of a small block 350 chev motor? need width length and depth to see if will fit into new project... cheers in advance
  22. check out amazd.co.nz for info on the mazda motor and turbo to use etc. from memory i think a suby vf10 or a vf8 are bigger and better and bolt straight on. mazda bpt (gtx) motors are all good, produce good power for what they are. bpd (gtr motors) are better yet as someone mentioned above. a few years ago i chucked a bpt in my fwd 1800 doch familia. went fucken hard and the 1800 fwd box was stronger than a 4wd gtx box. fuck how i miss that car... spinning up from 3rd to 4th on the dry road....
  23. i don't think he does re chroming as i wanted that done to mine and he couldn't
  24. yeah might try new sparkies as i left it idling for 5-7 seconds this morning and still did it wana get it sorted asap so might be a job for this weekend
  25. guys and girls when i drive my escort for roughly 15 mins from cold start and turn motor off when i get to where i am going, the motor sometimes doesn't want to turn off after i turn the key off. it kinda stutters and revs a bit then dies (sometimes maybe 3-4 seconds max). i have been told it may be an automatic choke problem that the car isn't warm enough yet so the choke is still slightly on. any ideas? and how to fix the prob? not a major one but fucks me off none the less. cheers
