  2. ed how much was that front lip if you can remember? cant plastic wed them as they are a form of rubber beleive it or not man those seals have come down alot, prices them up two years ago and they where well into the $400 mark but so tidy mate, its choice with those wheels too, set it right off have to do a engine transplant on my brothers aw11 in the coming weekend so if you need any engine parts let me know
  3. ultrasonicly cleaning injectors for the win man, $15 to 20 an injector, it really helps
  4. i think that was a very good test, only thing that let it down was that they didnt have a control test with the org oil that the car ( both the evo and holden ) had in themt o begin with edit i typed a massive rant but really cant be fucked causing an agrument so i have deleted it EFI_LC my advice to you would be if your concered in any way shape or form about the oil you are using ( wanting to use for that matter ) is do any given amount of km's and go get an inderpendent oil test from this they will be able to tell you how the oil is breaking down, what exactly its doing and if your engine is playing up etc cost's about $30 and any major oil company in nz can/will be able to do this for you

  6. theres a fuck load to oil man, aditives and minerals etc, advertising my arse do you know how many different types/grades of 5w/30 there are? shit loads have you herd of diesel particale ( sp? ) filters and the special type/grade of oil you HAVE to use ( come out on most tier 4/5 desiel engines and i would hope 90% of the mechinac's here should know about this type of thing ), that for a fact is not just an " oil marketing scheme i will garebtee this will be on most if not all car/ute/truck/tractor engines in the next two years..............its on most euro import deisels now now im rambaling oil is not just oil, i dont sit and sleep through a 3hr coarse about oil yearly cause i want to

  11. you would give me the correct part number when i got home aye........................not back at work for another week could get cunning and find the nearest bosch elec supplier, and go from there, i would bet a 90% chance of them having a better cross over and or repair parts bosch are pretty good when it comes to doing spare parts for the hydraullic ( which i know this is not ) and fuel items, from dealing with this shit daily thats where i would begin before you give a oem dealer your ball sacks

  13. germans and parts numbers lol me daily, its funny how one compay doesnt change much from the other any how in my big wonder full bosch book at work it seams they fit a few things from saabs to volvos etc most european cars other than british in my book thats dated 2008 has a euro list price of around 70euro not incl freight so with out my mind working 100% today $167 odd nzd would be about what you wpuld pay not incl freight/postage but that bosch number is still current 0280140516 sorry this book is not from any supplier in nz its from germany, i use it for bosch injectors and pumps thats about it
  14. been sand blasting the shit out of donna's escourt wheels there where at least three different colours all the rims are 7j unknowin offset but the rears are epic only pic i could tale on my cam is of the fronts just need to sort out tyres then bring the old girl to the ground

  16. im going to update this for my good old donnaz the hunter has been sitting dormint for a wee while, but with new motorvation this year with the olds getting a place for the hop, we ave decided to giver it the once over and tidy it up we have a oil cooler to slap on some nice widened escort wheels to tidy up and paint replace a ball joint/tie rod roll the gaurds abit wheel alignment and other things i havnt thought of but will later the 1725 will humm into life once again!!!!!
  17. its not a bad town herd meany a bar fight story with surounding town's, dont know of they are true some sweet hot pools kicking around there, and its not that far away from tga/wahi etc plus they have a kfc which is a win oh and they have some sweet sweet sealed back roads too

  21. for the dash side of things, from my understanding is that all the dashes in the x100 are the same regardless, so the plugs are all the same ( well they where for the 1jzge to the 1jzgte etc ) this freaked us out too when we changed the engines and ecu's over, but it was a massive releaf when it plugged in put if you have pple in the know you should be able to get the 2jz ecu to talk to the dash, you will be fine flick me your email addy and i will send you some pin outs for the dash plug and what pin is what sooo keen on cr kais they are all 9.5 with the sweetest offset, sitting at a tyre shop in hamilton, but alias i too need $$$ to fix my wants list you will be sweet man, stick to it, here is some 2jz + x100 motovatio for you =
  22. nah the jzx100 forums stuffed up my user name, its correct when i type it in, but on the boards its wrong and they wont change it because im not a paying member meh the only dish on those vs mx's are on the rears, with out thinking i reackon its about 2.5" maybe.........unsure the fronts well yea.......about those theres Di...... and thats about it agree on the 10"s im dying to change to 9.5 as soon as things alowe, which may be some time, always had a soft spot for cr kai's even tho they have been thrashed on damn near everything these days, who knows maybe if i change the colour of the rim center on my ones i may like them abit more..........that and i need to bring the arse end down about another 5mm man i couldnt agree with you more, a nice clean body line is what im striving for as well, i was going to get some wider fenders but opted out due to the price of things, that and the money can be spent else where, and im so glad that you changed indercator lens from clear to orange, alot of the jzx100 guys would murder for those clear lenes.........why i dont know
  23. also while im thinking about this, the dash is all elec controlled and runs off the ecu, i dont know how you will get around this i have a factory ecu pin out for the jzx100 1jzgte that will show the dash plugs and what the pins are if you need that let me know and i will email it to you also i beleave the abs ecu may be a piss around, there was a guy in taranki that done a 1jz swap with a gx100 and this gave him the biggest headace, i am unsure how they got around it reading this makes me sound real negitive hahaha, but im trying to gve you a heads up man oh oh also if you know niteB ( brendon i think ) hes a book of knowledge, i had a yarn to him this time last yr and he helped me out heaps with my issues good luck man, i will be watching this with a keen eye rgds jarred
  24. sweet wheels, but by my work vs-mx lol tip + 25 10" ( 245 streached to fit ) rim do not fit under the jzx100 guards if that helps..................well im lying..............they do..............just have to spend alot of time with a gaurd roller, you can pull the rear gaurds out by around 5mm at the most i would go 9.5 width oh did i say by my work vs-mx's
