    haha - yea can do it as soon as its touch dry if you really wanted 3 days is generally the best time to cut and polish/wet sand a new paint job before it gets too hard - takes about a month for paint to be fully set
  6. looking at getting my sill covers and finishers powdercoated rather than painting also my wheels and carb manifolds. Possibly a bunch of other stuff as i go through my boxes of parts questions can lead/bog/primer be powdercoated over. I have a feeling the melting point of lead will be a problem in the oven. going prices? should i just paint?

    can get proper oil sewing machine oil is too thin when warmed up i roll engine oil for max economy/it says in the book to do that

  9. one of the first reviews of the minor compared its aerodynamic shape to that of a boiled egg couple that with the fact that this colour is pretty close to a standard colour at the time and you can guess why
  10. had a problem with the minor running on and being a pig till high revs The mechanical advance weights had gunked up and frozen in a well advanced position - once cleaned it was fine. carbon/decoking probably isnt the problem - slam a couple of cups of meths in the fuel tank next time you fill up and itl get sorted

  13. i did pretty much what you are wanting to do with my minor hit it with some zinc primer as standard primer is shit at protecting anything
  14. places like apex brake and clutch can solder the end back on, or make a new one for less than $30 but if its like that one above just roll a bike cable
