  1. im yet to get the motor going, the car has super screwy electrics so starting it hasn't happened yet. The old owner showed me a receipt for nearly $3k worth of engine rebuild so im guessing it is probably better than the one in my current driver.
  2. ive got a complete manual e34 525i (with an M20 engine) for wrecking if you cant find a gearbox down your way
  3. I still have the 3" blocks and compressed front springs from your old hunter beaver, and those twin carbs off the old yellow parts car for an alloy head motor. sam, if any of this stuff is of use to you make me an offer i cant refuse
  4. that gives me long enough to sell/throw out all the crap in my shed so you can see the cars in there...
  5. I havent found my diagram yet, but i am looking. sorry mate
  6. thats only 5 mins from my place, and have space to store them for you. if you need me to do it PM me the details cheers Karl
  7. hmmm would say yes but its super close to the mrs's due date and i might get shot, so i will say maybe lol
  8. you need more... i dont have any road legal at the moment also i found some old pics of your sport. will upload them soon
  9. the pin outs are different so you need to change them around abit and run an extra wire to the coil. I wrote down the plug wire changes when i did my old one, I will see if i can find it. cheers
  10. looks pretty good, ditch those boat trailer rims for some turbo's/tridents/wide steelies etc those seats in there now dont look like factory items you can get a factory dash face in either silver or black, ive got a couple of spares if cant find one locally.
  11. tightening the rack is fairly easy, ive had to do it on a couple of the road legal mk5's ive had. I would say the fuel pump is the hard starting problem as oppose to the choke you might find it cheaper to buy a single piece driveshaft than a new driveshaft doughnut, then it solves that problem forever also +1 for putting recaros in, they make the driving position so much more comfortable and fit semi easily to the mk5 rails
  12. sweet car I am picking a car up in Wellington in a few weeks and could bring an engine back to Christchurch if needed
  13. Im still trying to get a day/evening pass from the Mrs, I have a portable BBQ I can bring/pass onto someone else going if needed

  19. that's just silly pete Young Camo was having a Rotary engine pine while you were away. It seems like a natural progression to me. but... a pinto is for life. Not just for Christmas.
