Went out to a choice jokers place in Pahiatua over the weekend to get a new carb. The only difference between the 315, and 316 is the size of the carb, so thought I might unlock a lil extra peppy for the trip to nelson. I was mid way through yarns, as cam was ripping the housing off the other one, and oo0o0 aii son, it has a dgv 32/36 on it. Whoops entailed, and we took that instead! With Cam once again doing 90% off the work, it was on, on Sunday, but seemed a little flat, and according to the "G TECH PERFORMANCE METER", we had exactly the same horsepower, hah! Dropped it off at Ian (Eurotech PN) today for him to have a fiddle. Funnily enough, it was running lean, and an increase in jet size has made a big difference (we didn't think would be lean, as came off a 1800 bmw motor) Was hoping for more (as the 316 is apparently 15hp more) but testing with us fatties in the car again netted a gain of approx 8-10hp at the bagz. Runs a lot better though, and revs sooo much more freely. Peppy increased.

Hiii guys. Perhaps will get a zaust done before nats if have enough coin. Want to be able to tuck it right up, and get rid of the ugly round rear muffler at the end that they have factory/I got one put there. Will use the rookiedaveinc headers that I have then new exhaust from there. What size should I go/ mufflers etc. Want it quite quiet, like only slightly louder than stock. Will be on a underpowered 1600, but would like to use the same when I eventually go 2ltr. 2" with one reso and one hidden muffler? I really don't hate cackle, in fact, I kinda like it. Don't want any drone if poss

I remember sitting in this car before it was painted. Hang on, or was it another Mitsis that Kim had. I'm not sure, regardless, kytlterer and I liked 910s before everybody else did. Awesome that you're getting stuck in! Am glad you're thinking of painting it too. O.g colour would be great, or white. White always looks fab.

I've noticed this old thing for a few years now, as lives on the same street as us. Would often watch it being reversed up the driveway whilst we were out for a stroll. I was driving home the other day, turned onto our street, and slammed the picks on when I realised it was for sale. On the for sale sign it mentioned "offers...". Here we go, I thought, this could either be very good, or, very bad. I in turn talked to the daughter of, granddaughter of and owner of, about the car over a couple of calls. A incredibly reasonable price was offered before Cam and I shot down for a look. The car seemed pretty tidy, nice and straight, but with a bit of fading, and a couple small spots of rust. I handed over the offered price, very happily, and drove it home - down the end of the street! We're only the second owners of the vehicle, the first being the 84 year old lady that we brought it off, and has lived (and is living) on our street since brand new. Jo has dubbed it "Betty". Plans are to give it a damn good polish (might drive to Auckland eh Alister), and maybe throw a set of 2nd hand lowering springs at it when some pop up on trademe or similar. Would like to say a smaller set of tyres on the pointies, but, since I have a brand new set of the same sized tyres - probably not! Meet at; The lower undercover park at the plaza at 7:00pm We run this similar to the Auckland meet, which does really well. We'll check out some cars, and walk straight over the road for some takeaways about 7:30ish - Just a note, feel free to invite other cars/people along, but you will be responsible for them! Please leave no rubbish and no skids/rowdy driving in the carpark - We've been given permission from the Plaza to use this, and we don't want to loose it. We have a rain free car park, and the barrier arms go up shortly after we arrive, meaning no parking fees. Grab a camera, and we'll seeya there! Sparkle

So many lols in this thread. Airport motel is also 2hunge, just wondering if anyone has any other options. Doesn't really need to be close as to airport, coz can get taxi etc/manu express or similar.

Hey guys, Any recommendations for a months storage that's near the airport? We're heading away overseas, and flying out of Wellington. Ones that I've been able to find thus far is the airport motel. Any ideas for elsewhere/good crowds to deal with? Sparkle
