  1. Next meet May 18th - here's the new thread: BurgerFuel are giving us two giveaway packs for each meet. Each pack has a couple of free meals and a couple of movie passes, so get your old cars out for this one!
  2. The next meet will be Thursday November 19th 2020 and is the annual Raglan cruise. Meet at Countdown Dinsdale for a cruise out leaving at 6ish It's November, which means Raglan. Turn up or you're a dumb dumb. Thursday 19th November. It's that time of year, so blow the dust off and bring your cars and bikes out for the annual Raglan meet, presented by oldschool.co.nz and CJC. Meet up at Countdown Dinsdale where we will convoy out to Raglan and park up on Marine Parade. Will look to get on the road about 6pm. There is a takeaway/fish and chip shop right next to where we will be parked up in Raglan, or plenty of other options to grab something from town and bring it across. Lots of parking, plenty of grass and a chance to talk some trash and enjoy a splendid summer evening (fingers crossed). Feel free to invite your friends and if you're a newbie, come along! We'll also be joining up with the CJC crew for these meets. Cheers to @macabre If you're bringing an old car, there should be lots of empty parks in the area pointed out below. By the way, old cars are not a requirement for this meet, it's mostly an excuse for all of us to have a social catch up. Any old cars in attendance are just a bonus.
  3. Awesome meet guys! Thanks for making the effort to come down. We had perfect weather, free food and good company. Cameron from Burgerfuel is stoked. I think we all agree that this should be the new location for our monthly meets?
  4. Can everyone please aim to be at Burgerfuel by 11am. We'll get getting burgers at 12. See you all in the morning!
  5. Seems like it's going to be a nice day! Here's the GPS location. It's between the pet shop and the Sharing Shed. 110 Thomas Rd, Rototuna, Hamilton 3210 https://goo.gl/maps/ovT3CtpMKEv
  6. Hey guys, this is now our April monthly meet. See you Saturday! Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/445410595792034/?ti=as
  7. Hey guys! This months meet is going to be the new Burgerfuel store opening on Saturday. See here for details:
  8. The red coupe would be awesome actually @0R10N. That'd look great in the front line up.
  9. Hey guys, this is coming up on Saturday. Cars and burgers = win. I still need a couple of more... presentable... cars to feature out the front of the shop. We've got Greg's beetle and Chris's Holden wagon. It would be nice to have 5 "OS Nice" cars next to the front door. All volunteers skip to the front of the queue for a free meal (burger, chips, drink).
  10. Rudge Fixie can go on the footpath near the door. 80's Mitsubishi can park with the main OS group.
  11. Keep the free Burgers thing under your hat - there will be a limited number of burgers but we're all welcome to have a meal on the house . I'm looking for 3-5 standout cars to be displayed in front of the new store. Does anyone have any suggestions or would they like to put their hands up? The Facebook event is here - invite your friends: https://www.facebook.com/events/445410595792034/
  12. I've been emailing the local owner of Burgerfuel and the national marketing manager this week and they're really Keen for a good display of cars. We'll get preferential parking next to the restaurant and can park a couple of cars on the footpath by the entrance too. They've offered to put us to the front of the line for burgers and everyone will get a free full meal (burger, fries and drink from the fridge). So we get fed before the expected 150+ local punters. I'm Keen to get a good turnout for this one, so get the word out!
  13. There's a new Burgerfuel opening in Hamilton and we've been invited to head along and get free burgers! They will be having a cook off at the new store where all the staff practice cooking burgers and test the equipment before the actual opening date on the Monday following. The owner has extended a personal invite to oldschool.co.nz to come along and display our cars and enjoy free burgers. They'll also be bringing along their 1971 Ford Ranchero ute to display with our cars. The details are: Burgerfuel Rototuna Saturday 22 April from 11am until 1pm. FREE BURGERS There's also a possibility of moving our meets out to Rototuna, so we should head down there and scope it out. Who's keen?
  14. Oh wow, you went to Elan Motorsport. That's sweet!
  15. I hear it's been flooding over there so there's plenty to soak up!
