yeah dont go bling man, they go surprising well with just some low key mods, abit more boost, a cam etc.You can run a bigger injecter from some other mitsi (last of the starions i think) or can go multipoint injection from a magna. Just remember they are only like 1100kg or somthing so you dont need a heap of power to go hard and can get them to handle well.The brakes are pretty sweet too.Good base for a pretty mean sleeper.

whatever the intercoolers are in the VR4s are pretty much perfect on these.Mean cars, can run about 14psi before you start having issues with fueling.

I got a feeling you can use a 4g52 clutch as its the same dia as the 4g63 clutch but is only 20spline to match your lancer box.Although it dosnt cost much more to just get somthing made anyway.

Yup, standard l200 brakes are pretty damn good, and the standard booster is more than enough.i would suggest looking at better pads also and replace fluid and make sure you bleed then well.pain in the ass getting all the air out of the rear,.
