Shes now LHS completed, greased and checked all doors (still had factory plastic), tacked old coins into guard mirror and antenna holes queen side up, fuckin broken fuckin headlight/park/dip switch contact fuckin holder. fuckin bakerlite shit! RARRRR! may have fucked up my plans to have it in car show next weekend but im on teh search. Tight schedule as im expecting my wide rims and tyres the day before the show from my flattie in chch, sorta dont want to chop coils until their on as wont turn corners when cut to acceptable height with 5 inch rims as opposed to 7.5s!
  5. Holy shit! you could buy all panels and weld together your brand new ford, mini of rootes group car!
  6. Covered all interior panels in old regional newspapers, ccut and welded a new sill into the LH side, finished off LR 1/4 with a nice spread of poos, ordered touch up paint, etc.

  11. Got it running yesterday, no real effort, timing was 180 out, runs like a hunny. Also fixed left front guard and door needed 3 rust patches. Put new tail lights on and changed fuel filler back to standard, have half re-made inside cardboard panels in 3mm coversheet.

    panel steel?

Fuck yea,. intense. Believe him^ I like using 0.6 or 0.8, 1mm is a tad gay to work

  14. Discuss at http://www.oldschool.co.nz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=13899 Finally, have some pictures of my new old ride. Its an english assembled version which i believe means floor shift and no bench seat. It was brought over into Dunedin in 14th september 1967 with 21244 Miles on clock, and has only lived in Dunedin, Wanaka and Roxburgh since. I picked it up for a song from an old family freind it turned out, who has had it since '84 as his A-frame car behind his work truck. It came with a good wee bevvy of spares, including the proper English estate heater, new bits in ford bags and general random shit. It has a sweet 1600 x-flow and has been converted to alternator from generator. Plans are to get it legal, lower it good and proper over my 7 inch steelies and fix the minimal rust in it, secure my beaded seat cover, and rock it as it stands in the pictures, as theres nothing like original paint and signage! If i can, ill find a visor and roof racks haha. ^ Delivery in dads truck ^ British pimp mirror ^interior not too bad, steering wheel centre is broken but all there. ^ Back seat is MINT! cool pattern too. ^ Have a set of tail lights lined up, should arrive this week. ^ "Step 1: lift lower portion of seat and flip forward" ^ "Step 2: Lower rear portion into bottom portion, as shown" ^ Heater, which you will notice has a facia panel that will sit under the dash. ^ Cooke Howlison- the friendly motor firm ^ reads TEVIOT CONTRACTING specialists in TREE TOPPING and TRIMMING NORMAN MARSH phone 48.066 ROXBURGH
  15. Hey phil, i remember your old 323 well, your a mate of farzys arent ya? Sick conversion and loving the fuel setup
  16. Yea its so small! Thats a 12a in the bay, 10a would be cool as it was a 1 litre piston factory..PP would probably push the chassis out from under the body and fuck off haha.
  17. not a bad show, plenty to look at. worthwile
  18. they were too cheap to pass up.. gonna whitewall thm
