  1. Meet in Mataura around 10am, probably at the Caltex for some fuel.
  2. Upgrade the maybe to a probably, so long as nothing else comes up between now and then. Might need to take the wagon but want to take the Merc. I'll figure it out. unlikely HQ guards will fit in the Mercedes but I'll try.
  3. Sporting feeling paint. Well I'm sold.
  4. I likely knew that at some point but now I do again, thank-you Kesse Kames.
  5. it's a designation used across all Nissan boxes (it's to do with ratios, etc. the 'C' stands for Close the other option is W at the end. Guess what that stands for). lerl. I assume he means one for an RB though. Not that it would matter cause an L bell should work also.
  6. Lookout, @Toddy415 might get himself a slightly more oldschool car than the Fix Git.
  7. You must have a spare valve you can slap in there quickly?
  8. What Terry said. I didn't have to with mine but plenty of people have done it with great success. Dry ice in bag, move it around floor, chip off, etc. There's a guy down here in Invers that's good for upholstery but you can likely find someone closer? Hemi @ Arrow Upholstery, pretty sure he just cranks away at it by himself, nice dude and does a good job by all accounts. There's usually something interesting in his tiny shop, I took one of the truck seats there to be re-done for the boss and there was a Riviera of 60's vintage sitting there with him beside it pedaling away on his machine.
  9. So the boat is suspended from the trailer? That's fucking sweet. Odd, of course but fucking sweet, would make floating it real easy though.
  10. It's been that way for a while. When I last got a clutch-kit from BNT I just said "yep, all good I don't give a fuck though as it's me doing it all so I don't care and then if it fails it's my problem and I'll buy a new one" It's still going OK. If you're happy with the state of your flywheel (no crack or grooves or heat spots) and you're happy with no warranty on the clutch-kit. Don't worry about the grind. If you're at all apprehensive, get it done simply for warranty purposes. Liability maaaaaaaaaan.
  11. It got transported from Invercargill to Wellington, costing more than the guy paid for the car which I forget the price of. After it left I've no idea. Memories...
  12. Hamilton ideally but any further at all helps so long as people don't mind housing them until the next part of the journey.
  13. It can do, yeah. It's surprisingly spritely for an old dog.
  14. I will enjoy the fuck out of gravel roads regardless of what vehicle I take (if I go) so I would suggest in advance to not drive behind me at that juncture.
  15. It's a shame I threw all my spare parts in with mine when I sold it, I think I had a spare set of caps. Pointless post but oh well, lerl. I still have my spare truck-lid mounted on the wall of my shed for memory sake.
  16. If I bring up a pair of brick's HQ guards will anyone be able to get them farther north than I. (hell, I could give them to Michael to get them technically further north, I guess. Lerl)
  17. Teretonga stalwart Colin Dawson sadly died this weekend of a heart attack. He was the owner of Riverside Rentals and the pilot of a ridiculous fast V8 powered Gen. I Rx7 that I admired for many years. More recently the motor from the 7 was put into his Gen. I Chevrolet Camaro RIP Colin. You provided me personally many hours of entertainment as well as countless others, I'm sure.
