  1. Would have gone from where the last one ended, because it did have a WoF he just put an updated one on, didn't he? So, shouldn't have gone from then but likely that it did.
  2. Hey, Grandpa Zeb. Can I go for a ride in your car? Please tell me it's still got plastic coverings on the door panels and seats.
  3. Yeah, dude. If you get one, be sure to check your neighbours letterbox for rust.
  4. Fucken lol, did you roll up in you RX60 with cut springs when you asked?
  5. FUCKEN YES! Stoked for you man, big ups to KKKKKKKKKKKKK Now get the rest of that bitch sorted yo!
  6. Mean average car bro. *waits for old man to change his mind*
  7. Had a few lols adding some effects to a shitty wee vid I took; Uploaded it this time yesterday and it's only just come viewable now.
  8. Try a PM to waimaks if no-one replies here bro
  9. Don't have a running car at the moment, but if I do by then, it's a distinct possibility.
  10. It's just due to the fact that before attachments were killed, you utilised the attachment function, removing that capability for reasons unknown, did not remove the attachment icon. There are another few threads kicking about with it still there as well. No drama.
  11. Nah, Bart is the Jew/Israeli and Ke36 is the Palestinian It is a Datsun cruise Bart, no need to feel all Jewish.
  12. It was a thought, however. I have my plans and the only gloss will be on the steel wheels.
  13. That lol'd me/ruled my face, so hard.
  14. I've never had to use a balljoint splitter.
  15. Remove the castle nut that the splitpin held solid and then flip it upside down and put it on enough so that the base of the nut is flush with the bolt. Using a hammer, give the side where the taper lock part of the bolt is stuck a good few hard strikes on either side, if the taper lock doesn't break after that then a few firm taps atop the nut should break it. If that doesn't work or you don't understand what I mean, go buy a ball joint splitter. Problem solved.
  16. So, either the wires are mixed up at the ignition plug or they're mixed up at the alternator or starter motor. Hmmm, the ignition position issue where it tries to restart makes me think it's that end rather than the alternator, I would definately try the other alts on there and double check your earths and wiring to the starter motor solenoid as well. It might be as simple as one small earth lead not connected.
  17. I find it hard to believe it's the alternator causing the problem, if four seperate IR alts have produced the same results. Are you sure it's not just the ignition switch?
  18. Also, for the amount of time it takes for a flapper to eat the wall you're likely to have spent less on a set of flappers and several sets of tyres in the time it would take to wear the walls down. Actually.. maybe not. Still... I think the car deserve proper Whitewalls, I'll just have to save some pennies then fork out.
  19. I'm certainly keeping that in mind, finding whites isn't so much the problem. Paying for them because they're insanely expensive. Is. I do think it's a sacrifice I'll have to make though.
  20. ^ We towed my 110 on the back of a dual axle savage trailer from CHCH to IVC using an ED Fairmont and you could sure as shit tell it was there, and the 110 only weighs just around 1100kg. Fuck it went through an horrific amount of gas too. I'd roll a 3.8 Holden V6 over the 'coon I6, having towed similar weights with both, the Holden did the job better and used less gas doing it. Ideally though, a diseasel LWB 4WD would be my suggestion.
  21. Oh yuck. Mine are factory 14" steels and I'm probably going to run some 15" on there. Unless I can't find whites for 15, in which case, 14 will have to do. Also, to get reverse you kind of pull the lever away from the column then push back and down. So I've found all my gears. Stoked. 4spd forward, 1 reverse, Column shift, Bench seat, deDion rear suspension, fintails, my car = hugely fucken badass! If I can get it a third the quality of your Benz, I'll be happy as a Larry.
  22. Gimme your whitewalls UJ. What diameter rim are yours?
  23. lols! Heart you UJ, this is the S12, close to S21. Especially if you're dyslexic. I should probably link the threads properly to make it easier. I'll do that later.
  24. So, spent a few hours out at the S21 today bled the brakes. Took ages to get fluid through and then when it did, took ages for it to run clear. Sorted now, but the wheels are fairly stiff to turn, not much use in twenty years, So I jacked the rear up, fired it up and then checked to make sure the clutch is working and YUS! it is. So, hopefully next weekend it won't be raining and I'll be able to take it for a bit of a spin, brakes working, clutch working, engine running, I found reverse which will come in handy. Just have to inflate one of the tubes and BAM, good for a spin. Meeeeeean
