Unitec runs part time/evening courses in mig and tig. i did it a few years back for aroun $250 or something

question re. this: I plan to freshen up my engine soon. however the car isn't wof'd and reg'd and wont be when engine work is done. dont really want to take it for an epic run in without those. is it safe to do a few short to-and-froms (to get the car legal) then run it in? cheers

small update - preview of the wheels. need to widen the centre bore by just 1mm or so as they stick out from the hub. around 5mm on the rear ,more on the front. not 100% fitting over the hub centre, but almost.

lol cheers for the comments i plan to hold onto the transfer case for the time being and bolt an alien motor/box to it. seems really doable without measuring things up. cunty part is going to be the electricals and all the side bits. we'll see. Interesting on the Peugoeot/citro stuff tho, ill have to file that one still keen on graphics tho Beaver, a couple of halfass stenciled cars wont steer me away (no offence meant). i'm thinking a nice bitmap (dot) one but yet to decide on one.

if you've got the standard lada carb i'll bet you any money that this is the cause. specifically the solenoid hanging of the side of it. get a new one of these. or replace with Webber as per Baxter's site. or inject.

been umming and ahring about this for ages. was going to sell for peanuts but will be moving to bigger better premises soon so I will go trough with the re-paint and will pull apart the spare engines i have to select the best one. at the moment starting with this sketch but the decals are likely to change

photos to come this week. it's been at Pit Stop since saturday. my $350 quote to put the exhaust together has somehow miraculously turned into around $930 now that most of it has already been done. On top of that, not o2 sensor tap in the new extractors as per original manifold so its going to move over lower, apparently the guy can't extend the O2 wire so i have to do it myself. fuck what a joke. for comparison, they charged me about $800 for the 3'' 300ZX system with NOTHING supplied by me. gtfo. muffler is a CHASE sports item

cool effort man, Ive got a liking for these. Fiats were manufactured where Im from (Zastava) eg the 128s and 101s. Uncle rolled a brown Polski 125 back in the day and had a 125 special at one stage. will be good to see this going
