out of curiousity, if its running through a TC, whats the oil condition like? if the oils burnt to fuck it can cause further slip when in those moments. But youd just lose speed, engine revs or note wouldnt drop. Might be something else to check and try but I think as already been mentioned and what you're going to check are good starters.

Havent read the underlying problem but you mention light is an issue in your garage thats too small? i have a bunch of lights you're more than welcome to have for free. you will be able to light it up so much there will be no shadows and you can see better than daytime.

Waterproofing paint for a container roof. Have patched a few leaks on the container roof, and its looking pretty rough. I need to get through the next 8 months. What can i use to paint and seal off any chances of water ingress. looking at the likes of this: Elastomeric Paint - Subflex 5000 - House Paint New Zealand Because its a cheaper version of this: Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant for Roofing & Commercial Waterproofing (cohe.co.nz) I can buy New corrogated iron delivered for $835 in the right colour and have the timber to make a roof over its lid which would be more preferable than about 600+ for 20L of the paint. Is there a more accessible product or anyone have any advise for other ideas? We are hamilton based.

Yes inlet Manis are different and they're also more expensive. Fc plates are fine for what you are doing with them. Well capable of 5-800 hp reliably with just decent stagey. Unless u can get FD parts cheap - good luck with that lol Greens are about 2900 for a set of new plates then u can have them cnc ported for not alot more. If everything else u have is good then sweet, job done

For me its finding someone actually reasonable that understands old cars, having a little bit of cool with them. That understands the actual rules, doesnt claim everything needs cert. or doesnt expect it to be like a 10yr old car. For me, its not about it being unsafe, noone wants that, but just being reasonable to some mods and bit of oldschool.

I def agree that the old girls that are being used on weekends and such like should have different rules to follow than daily drivers.

Surely, you could persuade the side of the sump out a little to give bit more clearance on that pickup fitting. looks like it only needs a 3 -5mm knock with a block of wood when warmed. or are you concerned about it being too thin already and cracking around the flange corner? edite: probably wrong fred also.

The other common reason for using alloy and copper is heat dissapation. Cheap AF heat exchanger pipe if you will. Braided ss line is good for flexi use. We also used these alot in trucks as the heat and pressure together kills everything the OEM fitted too quickly. Gunna be alot easier but probably not as cheap then using other materials, depending on your ability to do it yourself., which you seem more than capable.
