  1. Goddamn thats a cool car!!!!!!!
  2. I think you might find a 2-stroke triple out of reach of mortal man now, 750cc (which is the biggest and you'd need that to make it move) are like $4000 engines now. Yamaha fzr1000 or in fact any acoss the frame 4cyl motor would be just the job for insanity spec burnouts Sounds an awesome project, err tell me more about this afterhours muscle car madness.
  3. I laughed so hard at the Needs a good Tidy part. Just a bit of paint then?
  4. Awesome car, glad its gone to a good home
  5. On the weekend! There's still a way to go, but its well worthy of an up date
  6. Blatently too short for me to sleep in, but its like a supplimentary camping trailer, Booze, fridge, music etc
  7. Discussions here!!!! //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/49555-zebra-dudes-1976-halfscort-project-van-trailer/
  8. Ok so here it is, maybe in the right place maybe not, I guess it was a car, once! Tell me what you think, How much you hate me for having Half an Escort Van, Or feel the love for the Trailer idea.
  9. So a looooong time ago in a Galaxy far away I bought this, and to be fair the project has been Glacially slow. But no more! Lots of updates and pics coming!!!!
  10. Hey Jake post up some more pics, I've seen some progress!!!
  11. Ok so finally i got around to sorting out the Tranny, winter has been cold, and there's been so much to do with the Cannonball and other assorted things. Me and Three on the tree were going through another shed reorganisation (we bought more cars!) and I spotted the Mustang dirty, and neglected sitting in a pool of tranny fluid. "Fuck its a shame I said, what kind of asshat leaves a car like that to sit around? I pulled it up the front and decided to run it down a friends to stick it on the ramp and change the trans gaskets, I had them in the car anyway, two minutes of looking at it and we decided that the box is not a C4 and these were the wrong bits, its a C6 he said, wtf??? I thought all 302's came standard with a C4? Anyway he ordered the bits and I took off home. Next morning I got a call, mustangs done he said and I popped down to pick it up, honestly it feels so good to have an oil tight trans, I cant believe I've been pushing the F@$ker around the shed for so long. I picked up a set of wiper blades for it too. It's funny, but my cars always seem to inspire a love hate relationship with the public, Some guy in an Audi 4x4 was looking down his nose at me at the lights, quite literally sneering at me, when all of a sudden the back windows rolled down and his kids started taking pics and asking me to rev it up, maybe it pissed him off my couple of grand Mustang was cooler than his $110k Audi to his kids? Now I guess I should finish the interior, a bit, get the lights working and maybe, just maybe get this thing legal?
  12. S2000 is way too hard for me to get hold of and supply, Same deal with rotary. Sr20 Sylvia? Honestly I love MGB's and I they are ok as a standard car, they arn't amazing but they are fun, as soon as you modify one thing everything else needs modifiying too. I suspect the Wire wheels wont stand up to too much abuse, and lets face facts if it is modified, will you use that in a car which will grind off your head when you flip it over? (maybe its just me that thinks like that, but Convertables kinda freak me out!) Since it's fully intact mecanicly why not just give the B esries a bit of help with some extractors and a cam and leave it at that? Its not like there's not enough to take care of with the body, which has the structural integrety of a potato chip at the moment. Damn Have I become sensible here?
  13. Hmm now do I bring my Cordia too, or pull out the stops and bring the Rustang?
  14. I'm involved in this, I'm sorry Neal. Sorry that you bought this instead of me, because I freeking love it!!!!!! New Floorpans $140 each, they will take care of a lot of the Filing cabinet, wood screwed, tin plate, street signed bit. Sills $300 a side complete, and its ready to cruise, or at least ready to not snap in half. Welsh Dad say's good project son

  20. I had an awesome time I can't take any credit for organisation tho, that's all Neal Three on the trees doing (I've got to thank Chris R for all his electrical and shed sorting help too), I was just a glorified shed opener I think the highlights for me was meeting everyone, Kempy's Dr who style shed, complete with Jet engine. Toms Awesome FA50 (don't ask me why I like them so much I just do) and his killer 80's Hilux. Oh and Neals awesome BBQ skills Great to meet you all, and I hope we all get to do this again soon
  21. Fuck me I looked at some of the recesses of my shed and thought "I hope they have had all their shots"
