  1. I know him! He built a "chris craft" style mahogany skinned boat for the Talleys at our Nelson site. I did all of the mechanical and electrical side of it, So I fabricated everything out of 316 stainless, Engine mounting plates? Stainless, Little bracket to hold some stupid thing? Stainless. You want period style gauges? sure thing! I proceeded to buy the most expensive Hot Rod style gauge set that I could find. I spent as much money of theirs as I could. Unfortunately I couldn't talk the Talleys into a period correct engine, so I had to put in a diesel yanmar.... yawn. Got along alright though, I got it up to 32 Knots on the sea trials, coz you know im going to test the fuck out it Thanks for listening to my sharn
  2. I wonder if @ThePogstill has that sweet Mosa 2 stroke welder
  3. Delphine Metallic is the best E30 colour IMO. Here's a link to my shitty E30 for useless reading (Car is long gone but I will own another) I've also found the E30 community to be amazing with plenty of people going out of their way to help out a fellow E30 enthusiast
  4. I can get it this afternoon if you like? I shall pm you my phone number
  5. I'm in Ashburton (45 min away) and possibly could pick it up this weekend and store it at mine, What size truck are we talking? Class 1?
  6. Maybe for you... for me its just like any other tic tac that's been in my mouth, except with more flavour
  7. Lucky for me I have perfected my technique so it will all be over in a minute... 1 minute 30 seconds absolute max
  8. Because you love the attention from boys
  9. Fucking hell! why are genuine BMW ones like $16?
  10. They are generally pretty cheap
  11. I wouldn't go that far, Its not a waste of time if one is not a complete muppet when it comes to electronics, but like I said with the Dynafari wiring, It aint no thing but a chicken wing. If it is the ecu temp sensor thats faulty then the average driver will not know any difference, temp gauge may be reading correctly but (for example) ecu sensor isn't reading over 70c and needs to get to say 86c before switching to closed loop fueling
  12. If check engine light isn't up, the obd check wont do shit unless you are using it to monitor real time outputs, like what is engine temp reading vs actual engine temp
  13. Its definitely viable that the ecu can have its own temp sensor (euros are good for it). So if the ecu temp sensor is reading wrong the ecu will think that the car is cold and run it on open loop, essentially dumping in more fuel to be "safe"
  14. Somewhere on the dash there will be a button or dial with a label "Vol+" if you increase this setting the problem should go away, if its still there then increase the setting a touch more. Hope this helps
  15. I'm going to start spamming your you tube channel saying things like "we need to see the sexiness behind this voice" P.s... Clean your workshop, I'm not mad... just disappointed.
  16. Are you trying to trigger me? coz its working! haha Hopefully old mate at the swap meet doesn't have a whinge and cause more trouble for you!
  17. Cunt, Go to Brightwater engineers and ask for Kerry (he may be over at the old PK engineering yard) and tell him that cunt shane sent you. Hes a spring maker but can also get yours reset, but may as well get some monster truck style ones made to make a MONSTER BUS lol
  18. I've got one in Ashburton, shitty Chinese one though so its a bit hit and miss if it will read what you want it to
  19. Congratulations! I really want to see this flinging mud high into the sky from all 4 wheels, black smoke pouring from the exhaust, even better if there's a picture of you completely covered in mud other than a wide pearly white smile.
  20. So this didn't last long! haha I got offered a pretty good price so I sold it for profit
  21. I'm confused?? I thought the truck itself was the compensator?
  22. I cant make it to this, I'm on call Labour weekend. sorry people!
  23. Hi all, I thought being a 1990 that this will go here in other projects. Picked up this tidy little beast over the weekend, Plan is for it to be a daily/some 4x4 duties, It requires some rear wheel bearings, I will get rid of the auto hubs before I blow them and put in manual hubs, probably modify the drivers seat so my lanky ass will fit in it better and maybe a new window switch but otherwise everything works as it should, Fuel injected 1600 runs bloody well!
  24. It's like all those cunts in chch that drive around in their VX cruisers that look like they have never touched a blade of grass let alone some proper mud Oh wait, that was you hahaha
