I'm in the process of doing the VT master swap on my VK. Looks like a bolt up affair. I've also gone with VZ front brakes (2 pot thick disc) I found that on track days my standard brakes sucked balls at getting rid of heat. And tge way I looked at it is they an haul up a much heavier and quicker car so hould be better (cheaper option for me then rx7) Guy I bought some parts off had a VL calais with the rx7 front brakes and inch master and he raved on about how they are awsome so that should be a good improvement!

So really Bens fault? Nah 202. Shoulder been V8 though Oh and what bits for sale for kumeu? I need a fuse panel cover, fuel filler splash thing, some hq/z hubcaps that are less corroded than mine for starters. Gonna change the look up on van. Over the wires Giz parts?

That panel van is also the reason I bought mine! I sat behind where the steering wheel would've been and made car noises I bought mine a little while after that day and then messaged Ben about going and cutting the roof up to patch the vent hole in mine but it was already gone

I used this to haul home a bunch of bits I purchased off Ben which scratched up the floor in the back so Im not using it for that again. Also the only downside to this is it is a pity if can only carry two others. which is a bit average. Really need something with another row of seats for 6 deep summer cruising. Would be Ideal

But before driving it everywhere, I gave it a bit of a birthday and changed the engine oil and filter. Im not sure if Im imagining it or not, But Im sure after that it actually idled smoother and is alot quieter. I also gave the engine bay a decent water blast to get off all the grime and dust that it had accumulated before I purchased it. The motor actually came up abit more red that what it was but is also showing how much paints flaked off over the years.

As Discussed with Neal, The above sticker of couse would be without the flatpeaker hashtag. Just thought Id better clear that up. Anyway. Been out using this this weekend just gone and thoroughly enjoyed driving it. Cruises along so much better now with the larger tyres. Went out west and hung out at a Japan car meet and did not fit in at all.

I think secret Santa could be interesting Could do a cheap gift that's car or OS related and if you drop a present in you get a thing that says your eligible and do like a lucky dip/numbers out of a hat thing to give them out
