  2. The vibration could be due to diff pinion angle. Have a read here. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/38050-pinion-angle/?hl=%2Bpinion+%2Bangle
  3. That's just silly talk. Surely a letterbox will do.
  4. Thats a might big looking air filter you have there and I like it. Could we be seeing some cowl induction in your future?
  5. I think you will find those vette rims are 5x4.75", not 5x120mm. Slight difference of 0.65mm = broken studs
  6. Dem wb lsds arn't the strongest. They use a cone clutch. I blew up 3 of them in my old ute with a 350. Ended up welded that rear end up. skids on.
  7. I like the mystery run idea. It would be better IMO to do our own thing instead of tagging along with other clubs. OS has it's own feel and pace.
  8. Cheers all that were there. Was great to see some oldschoolers i hadn't met before. Jokers pic only represents half of the attendance. I'm glad I bought fishnchups and not bbq. That sausage was a little too well done for my liking.
  9. Get out of bed, fuel up your ride and get to Otaki beach for lunch. It's a cracker day outside kids. See you there.
  10. You could destroy your engine by running too lean. Sounds like you are playing with fire here man, (pun intended)
  11. Most 4 cylinders are 1342
  12. 3. spark firing while valve is still open due to incorrect ignition timing.
  13. It's the Valentines part that makes it so believable.
  14. Could it be left hand thread on one side? I'm just guessing now. You did take the split pin out right?
  15. Method for doing up the nut. While rotating the wheel, tighten the adjusting nut until there is a slight bind and all bearing surfaces are in contact. Then back off the adjusting nut 1/6 to 1/4 turn to the nearest locking hole, until the wheel rotates freely with .001˝ to .010˝ end play, or clearance. Lock the nut at this position
  16. OIC. Yep, definitely take the hub nut off. Studs are pressed into the drum.
  17. Dude. You seriously need to stop that fuel leak before you even think about starting the motor. Have you checked ignition timing with a timing light?
  18. To get the rear drums off, undo the hub nut. It probably wont be tight as I suspect it will be taper roller bearings.
