  1. Wow, that all looks very exciting. I’m sure everything will happen down to the minute as indicated in the agenda. I really must get my secretary to confirm my accommodation. (Anyone have a spare Air B&B bed going)
  2. Needs a third axle
  3. Don’t need a cert to switch to flat deck/send it. Dimensions: https://vehicleinspection.nzta.govt.nz/virms/in-service-wof-and-cof/general/vehicle-exterior/dimensions (see tables and images) You can have 4m past the rear axle.
  4. Nah, I don’t think so.
  5. That doesn’t look dangerous to me.
  6. Thins angle shows the ‘stretch’ better. I suspect most wof inspectors wouldn’t think there was a problem there.
  7. As a WOF guy I have seen stretched tyres that I thought would fail, but were ok according to the LVVTA tyre chart, so if they are outside of the tyre chart specs they must be obviously super stretched and you should fail. Bloody kids these days. Get off my lawn.
  8. EGR no rules. DPF if first registered before 2010 can delete. Post 2010 can be legal with an emissions test.
  9. That could be a factor to your fault code
  10. Should be. Do you have a scan tool? The reason I ask about the oil level is this may be how the fault code is triggered. Diesel diluted oil will raise the oil level.
  11. Any other codes or lights on the dash. Is the oil level perfect (do not overfill). Oil gets diluted by diesel when it does a dpf regen. It should evaporate after some hot (highway) driving.
  12. How are the ball joints?
  13. Ah shit. Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be unable to attend. sorry @Mourning Cupcake
  14. Sounds good. I’ll bring the whole fam for a fancy dinner.
  15. I can’t see why not, as long as it can’t restrict the steering wheel movement.
  16. The rule change that was coming got canned because was too hard. So, don’t panic & rock your plate how you want (as long as it has a light)
  17. Flashing o/d light means there is a trans fault code. It will be in limp mode. Check fault codes by connecting TE1 & E1. Count the flashing light on the dash, then google the number. To clear the code, disconnect the battery.
  18. I wonder if it’s worth welding in some more steel under the deck where the car wheels would normally sit.
  19. So many corn enthusiasts. Look out MS Paint dick thread.
  20. Not if you leave in the morning
