I had to put the nuts back on the ends of some bolts witch were under the guard and I could only just get one finger in there with the nut and washer balancing on one finger but I would all ways drop it, but I found if I super glued the washer to the nut then super glued the nut to my finger it took 2 seconds do do the whole job. the glue doesn't bond permanently to your finger if they are dirty.

I know where there is a stash of NOS panels and mint bonnet boot lid, plus a couple engines but I am not sure what gearboxes are on the back

Just have a look at the firing order and separate them that way

With the headers anything is probably better than stock manifolds, just make sure they are phased correctly if they are try Ys.

Fucking brand new BMG cambelt tensioner with less that 2,000 kms on it has started screaming and belt is not in the center of the pulley anymore. Fucking rubber cooling system seals didn't last more than 6 months and are not 3 times the size they use to be.
