It has been racing for over 30 years like this, so I guess you could say it's "good enough"! A bit hard to tell from your pic, is that a Cortina too? That was pretty much my reasoning behind buying this car. Not sure whether to go old school or new on the engine. I would love an angry Cleveland with 1000+hp, but that will cost a lot of $$$ to build. I do have an engine which is rather similar to the one you suggested. A 5.0 4 cam V8, built by Ford, with an Eaton TVS supercharger that makes 500hp stock, with a ZF 6 speed auto bolted on.
