kirk28 Posted June 14, 2015 Author Share Posted June 14, 2015 Need to sort out shipping from Aus for the parts needed, anyone have experience sending parts from Aus to NZ? or would be good if someone knew of a wrecking crown in nz.. I will need to get a workshop to do all the work on the engine conversion, haven't been in NZ for years s anyone got any idea of the cost of say transplanting in a 2J? or even a 1UZ (the difference in cost might not be much?) even better if someone has contacts in New Plymouth that can do the job. I know sounds like a stupid and logical thing to say but yeah, the 2jz conversion my ms110 was easy in a way. but still time consuming Some how my trademe didn't see this for sale probabaly a good thing. not sure on 1uz conversion. have heard its a bit hard with crowns. but yowzer and co picked up a burnt out 1uz conversion crown of this period I think, so cant be to bad.
