Seedy Al
Hey guys anyone know the best way to figure out what sort of fuel pump pressure I should be running on my Carbed Suzuki Carry, or have an idea of how to figure it out? I suspect the factory one is getting a bit tired, as It takes forever to fill the bowl from cold, and seem to be running out of gas around 4000rpm on the motor way SO kinda keen just to buy a universal facet style one, but not sure what the little one litre is meant to be running..... thanks. and thoughts or advice would be most radical
Goat
You should be sweet with a self circulating facet pump. I run one in fronte and have no dramas at all. That had a vacuum powered pump from factory. I have one you can test with if you want before you buy one.
Seedy Al
ooohh yeah maybe. those pumps come in two psi ranges. I assume 4 to 7psi would be the go.
tortron
Morry thous (and are fine up to 1300s) 4-5.5 psi with a flow rate of about 18gal and hour cant imagine the demands of a carry will be any more. Will want a hihger pressure pump if the pump is located near the tank rather than the engine
