feavermj
I have a Redtop 16V 4age running factory intake. Wanting to know the best/cost effective way to convert it to ITB. What ECU needs to be used if it's converted using s/t or b/t ITBs? Any info would be appreciated.
kpr
There is a massive thread about this somewhere bolting them on wise, easiest would be grab a t3 manifold. and st throttles. you will need an aftermarket ecu and full re-tune in alpha n (tps vs rpm) mode.
feavermj
I see the adapter on there website also say about having to run a standalone Ecu. Thanks for the heads up I will start gathering some parts together. Do some research into what Ecu. Heard some good bang or buck with the mega squirt. kpr
^ this atom g4+ if you just want it to work with no drama, on a good solid platform megasquirt if you have time to burn and no money. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/28097-individual-throttle-body-tech/ //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/37973-individual-throttlebodies-itbs-tech/ //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/34850-diy-fuel-injection-thread/ i use blacktop throttles on my smallport. to get taper though the whole intake. but there is alot of work in it. BlownCorona
edited, i was dumb and thought this was a full manifold misleading photos on trademe really fuck me off http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/carburation-induction/auction-681252491.htm
feavermj
Yeah I've seen those I don't have the talents to make myself a complete manifold so I think my best option is to get the T3 manifold
