Why buy one old car when you can have two for twice the price?

I had second thoughts buying another old car when the other is not even finished but meh, its had to be done. Plus how handy will it be chasing parts and picking up stuff from bunnings?!

Yes, its very unique. The interior was quite gold, I have painted a heap of stuff black but the head lining, seat inserts and bottom of door trims are still gold for now. Want to sort that out at some stage, golds not really my favorite colour haha.

Cant be too fussy with these things though when buying old cars. Old Falcons seem to be one of those cars that people always have to play with...

yeah man drive it happy while you can!

I going to keep this one on the road at least until the XP sedan is finished!

OK, so I sanded back the A & B pillars and also around the rear window tonight. If you could have see nit in the sun you would probably want to do the same, it was very sparkly! Anyway, can't decide between satin black and the satin cream body colour. I already have colour matched cans ready to spray. Hmm decisions. I think black might be a bit ghetto though.

Wow, that visor is top dollar but I guess indeed rare in nz. $100 Max for one here, they are pretty easy to come by. Its funny, the XP had a XM one fitted (different buldges) so I've swapped them and thats the one i painted cream. Still have the gold metal flake gold one set aside.

PS, been driving this heaps. Pretty happy with it, just need to put a Carb kit in as its leaking to the point all the fuel disappears from the bowl after leaving it for a bit. Might throw in electronic ignition distributor for bit more reliability. Need to change diff ratio though, its way to low with 4.0:1 100kph is achievable but engine is revving pretty hard. Have 3.5:1 ratio diff sitting in garage from the XP, might swap it or maybe even hang out for a 3.2:1 if I can find one...
