**CASH REWARD** STOLEN 17/01/2012, Auckland/Birkdale area!!! Green KE70 Sedan, auto 4k - stock as!

still on factory wheels and stock height etc

had been doing some rust work under the dashboard over the holidays and only half put it back together so the dashboard is missing some trims etc

everything on this thing is stock except for it has a red painted CE71 pedal box and brand new clutch master cyclinder installed. (still auto transmission in at the moment though)

offering a cash reward for any information leading to me catching these guys!!

many thanks

Was out with Chees- earlier , car was definately a similar colour to the photos of your one. (don't know why he seems to think it was fluro??) was parked up outside the united video on lincoln rd. We should have stopped!! I got muddled as to which stolen cars I had heard about and which were recovered.

If its any constellation, if it was infact your car it was still in one piece..

thanks man, if you see it again please try follow it to an address or something man and give me a txt or call on 021 132 5825, there will be a cash reward for you :)

few easy ways to identify it would be the plastic bumpers, yellow paint mark on the diff housing u could see from a distance if following it cus its still factory height, dashboard missing trims etc, no glove box etc put back in yet, auto, no bottom windscreen chrome trim, no caps over the windscreen wiper bolts - can see the bolts holding the wiper blades on. (put everything back together in a hurray after having the dash board etc out over the holidays so i could drive to work again lol)

also its a GL not a DX and has that little bit of white paint coming through right in the middle on the tip of the boot lid.

plus i also put some ribnuts in under the bonnet so the wiper grill have 6 golden bolts holding it in where as from factory it was just plastic clips etc. and it has the cable clutch cone removed from the firewall and spot welds just dabbed with rust killer at the mo until i can fill the hole and paint. and mud flaps have been removed and the plastic black strips along the middle of the doors and body etc have been removed but still has some spots of the white urathane that holds them on left behind.

thanks heaps!!

man, that's sucks, how did it get stolen, where did you park it/

cheaky bastards stole it from under my car port, we are a three unit block, me being the middle unit, so there were cars either side of mine and the car port is attached to the front neighbours house, i guess they rolled it out the drive onto the street before starting it etc.

i bet they stalled it at least once also until they realized it still uses a choke lol

Oh god, being stolen from birkdale is a bit scary, getting close to beach haven...

I'll keep an eye out round here, drive the dodgy streets and look for it

thanks heaps mate, i've driven round to the warf and the park etc and the colder sack down by the gassy just down from birkdale road etc, anywhere i thought someone might dump a car but nothing yet

i'm prolly dangerous as on the roads at the moment cus everywhere i go i'm looking down driveways and keeping an eye out for it in traffic etc, hoping they're stupid enough to drive it round the local area where i'll see them!!

thanks heaps for your help mate!@

Heres a facebook page too brew.

Seen a couple of successes off here.

https://www.facebook.com/StolenVehiclesNZ

Thanks Simon, that page is both depressing and rage inducing.

I think im going to hide a gps tracker inside my car.

Warn about it so it doesnt get stolen,

or dont and let the police (/4x2 with carved down, leather wrapped handle) find them.

I havent decided yet.

Yeah when mines driving it will have a full gps txt to kill / drop chassis on ground so your actually can't drive anywhere alarm.

Have no time for that. If It got taken and I found the house it was at I would rock up with the work truck, smash the front of their garage/shed/house to bits with the hiab, uplift car and leave.

If you do get a GPS tracker, don't tell anyone. I have heard of crims using shipping containers to block the GPS signal, they have a truck waiting around the corner with a shipping container then once it is loaded in the truck then they can just drive off and you can't track them.

I know it is overkill but I have heard of it done.

thanks for your support everyone.

if anyone does see it please follow it to their address and txt or call me so i can notify the police then race them there :) if it's mine there will be cash reward for you!!

easiest way to tell if it's mine is going to be getting up close and looking at the windows, all the glass was original and still had my number plate etched into it - KS4262.

many thanks for your help everyone!
