kyteler Posted July 16, 2011 Share Posted July 16, 2011 It could be a lack of power from poor earths/connections not giving enough juice to the solenoid one the starter or simply the solenoid might be stuck. Try whacking the starter with a bit of wood, nice and solid thwack, and try again. If it still doesn't fly, take the starter off and bench test it. If it's still not working then rebuild it. Sorted. RB30VB Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 omg pine.. i love these ae82s... we have one for a work hack... tis single cam spec but everything else is luxury spec. has fuel injection, aircon, central locking, electric windows and Even CRUISE CONTROL, which upon asking our local Toyota wrecker they have never heard of on one of those only thing its lacking is the 4age theres about 4 GT Limited's around the welly region that im aware of, soo keen on one..
