shizzl
looks like a good buy seeing as the pulley is allready set up for ya... be a cheaper option to blow a couple of hundy on getting that to work... you might even be pleasantly surprised with it... go for it man
Jase
along as it spins freely probably not bad, v belt pulley conversion being done also helps as swapping sizes would be reasonably easy, a cam regrind and headwork would all be worthwhile learning curves. lou
PM fred who built the red ute, he knows all the ins and outs of fe3 engines and can fill your head will all the info you need Will do as I could still be keen to do this conversion later down the track. For now though, I'm thinking it might be a fun learning curve to rape the NA to an inch of its life. The heads had something done to it. I'm not exactly sure what but i have a receipt for $360 atached to the engine rebuild reciepts. Might have to have a look over them. I'm guessing that the V belt setup is needed for the pully's on my engine? I'm having a vision of one of these poking out the bonnet with some sweet gilmour pulleys and belt. Jase
save the gillies and external blower for when you do a ls1 conversion, underbonnet and understated rule oldschool unless you have horsepower to flaunt. you'll confuse people with a blower whine anyway.
