kyteler
There's no way those wheels would fill your guards with the TSCup flares on. Way too thin. Getting the gear might not be easy in NZ but that's irrelevant, everything is available in Japan and is easy enough to buy through Ewan @ Hayatonka. You find what you want on YAJ (Yahoo! Auctions Japan) give him the link to the page, set your max bid, pay a deposit, if you win you pay rest of the fees, bang, shit gets either sent to your door or if you choose, on a slow boat over. Nothing is a problem in this modern world we live in. I'll likely be getting all that manner of gubbins at some stage for the KPB310 but that's a good few years off after the KHGC110 is finished. All my FRP came out of Japan through Ewan. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The badass of this speaks volumes;
crosdp_82
yeh i had that feeling, hmm would they have to be like 15x10s?
kyteler
15" might be a scratch too big for a Sunny (hard to say without seeing them on), most of the TSCup wheels are either 13 or 14" and as you can see coupled with the appropriate tyres and lowering, they look pretty magical. You could perhaps get away with an 8 or 9 as long as the offset was in the negatives, +25 is a bit yuck though. Edit: To give you an idea. Those little wheels on my C110 are 14x7.5 -13 (IIRC). They're not massive but the offset makes it. Tyres could be smaller but they came with the wheels and on the 110 I'm not keen to have anything narrower than a 205, with a Sunny you could happily roll a lot narrower. Yeh thats true, and wow there 14x12s on that auctions site.. and i was going on price with them rims(1400 with tyres) as i got 3k too pay for them and my exhaust system. and the rest was to go on finding body part/flares/front lip etc
kyteler
Keep your eyes peeled on YAJ and drop a stack of cash on the rims. Exhaust is exhaust, mild steel 2-2.25" will be fine and should cost fuck-all. Rob might jump in at some point to show his KPB310 and mention the wheel sizes, I'm not sure how different it is guard wise between the coupe and the wagon but it should help you to understand what sizes and offset of wheel you can fit on without going the flared route and with that said, what to expect if you DO go the flared route. crosdp_82
i know them rims i posted fit under my slighty hammerd/flared gaurds, but would look better with fulled out flared gaurds!!! in my mind atleast!

kyteler
Just make sure you're in the Automotive section and use the correct search terms, you'll be good to go. This should get you started; サニー 310 You just have to wade through a LOT of shit. Part and parcel though, if you remove the 310 have to wade through more generations of Sunny stuff but can occasionally find little gems hidden away that have been listed strangely. The same goes for narrowing the search to either; B310, 310 or B310 You might think B310 and B310 are the same but the different characters used seem to create different terms and thus different results. kyteler
When you're waiting for your stuff, it can depends on a few things. 1. How long it takes for the auction to finish. Once the auction has finished, 2. How long it takes for the goods to get from where-ever in Japan they are, to Ewan in Nagoya. Once Ewan has them, if you choose to send them via EMS, you can get them from Japan -> NZ in anywhere from 3-7 days. If you factor in a 7day EMS, you're unlikely to be disappointed. If you choose to send them in the next container he's taking over, then I'm not sure. I've not had anything sent by sea, it is a substancially longer wait though, to the potential tune of months and when they do arrive freight inside NZ can then be expensive. For units of FRP, I'd recommend you do as I did and get them sent via EMS. Of course, you could remove the YAJ part entirely and get your FRP parts from restored.jp; http://www.restored.jp/b310sunnyparts.htm If you were only seeing those pages with boxes, I would suggest you install the Japanese language pack. it makes things WAY easier. kyteler
Yeah for sure. Accumulate all the parts and then once you have them all, nut it out. You'll probably need the flares first regardless before you can begin to measure exactly what size wheels you can fit, once you know that then your search becomes that much easier. Good results can be had without flares though. I would just suggest to you that if you do flare it, don't go the "Universal Flares" route and look like every donkey and his KE70, SACKED OWT ON MODGEEEEEZZZ WIF LUMPY 4K. Now thats funny! i may skip the flares if my rims fit nice and tight under my guards and just see how the front kit(maybe change it to fit nice with out the flares) and that kp60 wing looks like.. could b the go

mikuni
Oh, was interested in price on 03's as I want to import some myself.Gaz If you're talking new equip 03's I priced them up a couple of years ago when looking for wheels and they are around the $3500 mark. Much the same as any new 3 piece wheel, just the labour and materials required is very expensive. Buying some custom locally built wheels would probably be a better option, or finding some decent centres and having the outer bands made to appropriate width and offset.
