shizzl
yo, must be a couple of beddy fans out there.. been looking at a van...but wanna know what stud pattern these run. i bet its some super gay pattern, like a one off size.. dont really wanna get something i cant easily get some old school rims for.. or, the other option is restudding them, does anyone also know if theres enough meat on the hubs to that? diffs easy, restud the axles and redrill the drums.. the one ive been looking at apparently has a 2l in it, sounds gutless as fuk to me..so keen to find out more about dropping in a better motor for towing.. and yeah the van is a high roof camper steez...may paint it up like mr whippy (prosty boy) any info on this stuff would be mean.. cheers
cletus
some super gay pattern, like a one off size.. you got it right there they have a big 5 stud pattern i looked at one the other day that had HQ discs on the front, sorry dont know what has to be done to fit them. the original engine wasnt very powerful at all most of them ended up with holden 6pots. cool vans though. would look good on widened original wheels with hub caps maybe? KKtrips
I have a strong running Blue HighComp 202 and a 4 speed box for sale if you keen to do the 202 conversion.. I reckon some of the Retro Van websites would have the lowdown on popular conversions for these things..

Yeah 5x6" from memory, think the duellys had a different rear stud and I've seen a couple of Aussie assembled ones with what look like HQ wheels from stock. Jase
5x140 same as toyota landcruiser 5 stud and possibly liteace 5 stud, wouldn't bother with 202 for towing put a td42t or some such bus motor in it, i drove a jumbo with a 3.8v6 was good empty but thirsty loaded, i had a cf with ld28 was painfully slow but sounded like a truck
