yes if you get the right diameter mouth pod filter I don't see why you can't attach one on, but the question is why bother? The factory air filters in those can setups flow more than enough the 4G63 carb engine sucks in, perhaps you could improve the air feed to the air can but otherwise you aren't going to see any power increase.

Ive heard vans with pod filters and they sound poo - the air filter being in a coccooned area seems to make them sound very thumpy like a shit diesel rather than a wahhhh booooost..

Keep the standard air filter housing IMO.. (but its your van.. :P )
