My name is Russell Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 The daily FA has been splitter and splattering on n off for a while now, so tried fixing it for good. Started by stripping down carb ... couldn't see any problems there. Then decided to remove head to check the exhaust ports were all clear .... which i ended going a bit far and before i new it the piston was out and engine apart. oops couldn't be bothered re assembling engine as i couldn't see any obvious issues that would fix the splattering so put one of the hogs other engines on her and she runs like a dream. So much fun to play with looking forward to building the spare hog. Iv decided a Backup hog is key and now realise why all the BDA boys have two each. So will strip the frame down ... what color should i paint her? Matt black x 3, green, blue, orange have already been done by fellow hogers so need something different. Profesionally made stickers that mysteriously appear on my hog after work. Wow what a productive Friday night, wish i could overhaul the escort so easily!
